My experience with Ted Russell Ford has been a disaster. First- they sold me a used truck without headrest and didn’t tell me about until after I signed the paperwork. The salesman told me I was out of luck and this is the way the truck came. Of course I had to go above them and finally after a week I received new headrest. Also, before I left the site one of the salesman said that if I got in a wreck it would break my neck without a headrest. ( I should have not left with the truck).Then a day after I bought the truck it started throwing engine codes and I was blamed for the codes coming up. That I was breaking too hard or getting on the gas to hard. I took the truck to another ford dealer and found multiple engine codes that were stored for three months before I bought it and I was told by the salesman it had a 159 point inspection. I left the truck at Ted Russell to have the codes repaired which they stepped up and took care of it but not without going back and forth. I will end with this: the truck was for my son. So during the process of looking for a truck he found one at a buy here pay here and told him that I refused to purchase a truck from a place like that I wanted to buy at a respectable ford dealership, but it turns out Ted Russell Ford is a buy here pay here dealership. I have left multiple messages with the general manager to call me back but I have yet to hear from him. More
I purchased a used 2025 Ford Maverick and traded my 2024 Ram. Before agreeing to a final purchase, I paid $188 to Christian Brothers Automotive to do a thorough pre sale inspection. I don't normally give bad reviews, today was an eye opening experience. I was going to purchase a 12 year old Rav4 that was priced around $2k over its value. This is somewhat normal for dealers. When we went to discuss the numbers, the price went up almost $4k with fees and some protection plan that is totally unnecessary for a 12 year old car. I wanted to walk away then, but the salesman went to work on it. He left us sitting in his office knowing that I had other cars that I wanted to see. I finally got up and left. He and his boss were hanging out in the parking lot trying to wait me out. I'm curious how many people fall for the fees and xx oil change plans they sell for $2k. I won't go back there. I found almost the exact same vehicle for $3k less than their price. So a happy ending to a long day for us. I hope more people look closely at those fees and charges when buying a car....most of the time they are useless. Find your own maintenance plan. More

We recently purchased a F150 Lightning--all electric truck. Bill James, the salesperson, introduced us to the features of the truck and has helped us work through understanding charging the truck. They then claimed it was recalled, which was a lie. They then told him after being caught in the lie that they would locate him a replacement, which is another lie because they will no longer answer his calls. I would not recommend doing any sort of business with people who act this way. These people are a prime example why dealerships have bad reputations. Mistakes happen but lying and being deceitful are unconscionable and shouldn’t be tolerated. More
