After picking out the car i wanted, which was a Ford Fusion and going back and forth with the deal .... Finally setteling on a price.... We called first and spoke with Tom Weiss and confirmed that the vehicle was still in inventory...we made the drive from Monticello, KY to Knoxville, TN.. and we were not disappointed, the vehicle was as represented and the negotiation process was straight forward and relatively painless. The day before out trip to Ted Russell we walked out of a dealership when it became obvious that the games had begun!!!! Needless to say they let a serious buyer(Us) get away. It's very easy to give good ratings when you have had a bad experience somewhere else and have an opportunity to have a immediate comparison. He assured me that even though I have rocky credit, that he would do his best to help me find and purchase a vehicle. He waited patiently and assisted me with filling out the online application. He didn't sugar coat the situation or mislead me in any way, he simply told me he would do his best. I brought this issue to the attention of his manager, Frank Eppolito and he ignored me and the problem. At this point my opinion of Ted Russell was disappointing....until I had the opportunity to work with Garrett Fowler. He is wonderful and took care us in every way! As did Dentis Ball in service who helped get me to work and picked up to get my car and got the work needed done quickly and professionally. And Lincoln Sills was superior in his hard work and dedication to getting us the best financing he could! While we had an unhappy experience with Tom Weiss and Frank Eppolito, the other Ted Russell team members we worked with were wonderful and we will be back next year when it is time to replace our other car. Based on this information I drove 5 hours for a test drive. Tom was very fair on price, and his business manager, Robert Duffy handled my transaction very quickly.
