I wasnt really sure what type of vechile i wanted to purchase. I drove the equinox at another dealership. I loved it. All I asked for was a moon/sun roof and not red or white color. Also he noticed when I said i would prefer manual over auto. Stephen showed a 2011 to me and we took it for a test drive, a 6 speed manual !! what a nice car!! so anyways we worked out some numbers together and came out with something I could manage. I am very pleased with service dept. after having an issue with something that wasn't done right. I was looking for a mid size crew cab and saw one at Terryville Chevrolet on Saturday night after hours. On today April 1, 2013 I went there at 8:00 AM and walked in and Ray Demers greeted me. I told Ra Terryville Chevrolet on Saturday night after hours. On today April 1, 2013 I went there at 8:00 AM and walked in and Ray Demers greeted me. I told Ray I had the money, title, and all the info he needed. All Ray asked was "what car or truck are you interested in". I told Ray the Red 2012 GMC Canyon. Ray took my drivers license entered me in the computer and brought the truck right up to the front door for me to test drive. We went for a ride and from there on it was a piece of cake. I told Ray I want the best price for the Gmc and my trade in. Ray came back to me within seconds with the figures and I agreed with the pricing on both my trade and the GMC. The next step was how quickly the business office had done the paper work and I went home with the truck before 2 hours were up. This was the best and fastest I've ever purchased a truck. Ray was a pure gentlemen through out the entire buying process I had. Before I got out of the business office Ray took the truck for gas, had it cleaned and put my plates on the truck and parked it right outside the front door for me. For a few weeks we scoured many dealerships and always left with a certain feeling of "there's something not quite right about this place," or "do you think they're being honest?" or "I guess it's a good left with a certain feeling of "there's something not quite right about this place," or "do you think they're being honest?" or "I guess it's a good fit... it will most likely work out fine." ---UNTIL we went to Terryville Chevy. We even left deposits on two previous cars before we found our perfect match with Ray and Terryville Chevy. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was in the presence of someone that genuinely wanted to meet our needs, but was okay with me walking away if he couldn't find the right car for my family. After all of the negative experiences we had it was such a breath of fresh air!! I called ahead to let him know what I was hoping to see and he was ready for me when I got there. He showed me all of the features of the vehicle and knew the answers to all of my questions. The paperwork couldn't have gone any smoother and we didn't hit a single bump in the road. How's the vehicle? It's been nearly a month and we are completely satisfied! It's everything they advertised, and more. We went from being completely exhausted by the whole car buying charade to pleasantly surprised and grateful! Went to this dealership the other day. We were not greeted when we walked through the door. Then I asked for what I was looking for, was brought outside to the car and was told here it is I said can w greeted when we walked through the door. Then I asked for what I was looking for, was brought outside to the car and was told here it is I said can we look at the inside is the car locked he said yes we lock all the cars (ok well I know what the car looks like from the outside). If you are showing someone a car wouldn't you bring the keys with you??? Was told by the salesman several times he is ready to go home for the day. I understand it was late in the day, but when I walked in I would have appreciated it if I was treated a little nicer. I will NEVER go back here again. I have told people since then not to go there. More
