Mr. Blount, My name is Bert Brocker, Gemeral Manager for Texan Buick GMC. We spoke on the phone last Wednesday after your unsatisfactory visit to our store. My Dealership participates in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, and my phone call with you, you did not share that experience. As I said to you over the phone, it is not our store's intent to mislead people for any reason at all. In reconstructing the timeline of events, it appears that while my salesperson Clarence did call you back to tell you that $24,000 would not work, he was slow to make this call but you had alredy left your home shortly after the first conversation. I can understand your frustration at having driven for nearly an hour before being told the deal you thought you had wasn't going to happen. As I said on the phone, I am truly sorry this happened. We try to do the best we can but sometimes make mistakes. I am humbly requesting that you reconsider your negative review posted on DealerRater. If you can see your way to logging in and editing your review it would mean a great deal to me. I take a personal interest in every new customer we earn and hope to include you someday soon. Bert, While I do appreciate they efforts that have been made to contact me and appoligize for the inconvience, I think you feel that this was just a missunderstanding. It was not, I was told that we did have a deal (not in the first call, but when I was called back. In a third call when I called after leaving work I was told again that we had a deal. It was not until the fourth call, when I was minutes from the dealership, that I was called and told that there might be a problem getting to $24,000. Based on this, I will edit the comments to reflect the efforts made to appoligize, but not the ratings
