This dealer is full of gimmicky sales tactics to make you think you’re getting a deal when you’re really getting raked over the coals. I’ve called to inquire about the same vehicle no less than three times i think you’re getting a deal when you’re really getting raked over the coals. I’ve called to inquire about the same vehicle no less than three times in the last week. I finally was able to get someone to return my call on the final try, and only three hours after I was told they’d call right back. When they called back they told me the vehicle (which was still showing as “in transit” on the manufacturer website and the dealer website) had just rolled off the trailer straight from the manufacturer right before they called. They didn’t know at that time I was hoping to find one that would arrive in a day or two so I could hammer out all the details over messaging, put a deposit down, avoid all the aftermarket dealer haggling over stupid stuff and have a streamlined purchasing process once the car arrived. It’s not the first time I’ve done this and my parent sold cars for a living for awhile, so I am aware of a lot of the little sales tricks and like to avoid them as I generally find them demeaning and irritating. Back to the call - the salesman even said he watched them unload it. I was then quoted a price of 3k over msrp when the vehicle was being advertised online for 4K under msrp. After I sent a screenshot of the price on their website, the salesman confirmed they “would honor” the price, but then attempted to explain that there was going to be a $3k up charge added back on to the advertised, discounted price. He attempted to explain the $3k was for “aftermarket” items the dealer added (like nitrogen, wheel locks, tint, and some sort of other anti theft whatever - not $3k worth of gimmicks for sure - nitro runs $10-20/tire, wheel locks can be purchased for $20-50, tint for two windows is about $150-200 maybe, and you can get an anti-theft device or gps tracker with an app for about ~50). When I explained that I didn’t want any of those items for the quoted price as there was no way they were worth anywhere near $3k (even after a substantial markup), I was told they could not be taken off despite the assertion that the vehicle had literally just rolled off the trailer less than an hour before. I asked him to have his sales manager call me. I didn’t tell him that I was tired of the games already. I did promptly get a call from someone who said they were “one of the managers”. I was then told that the advertised $4k discount off msrp was to “help make up” for the cost of the dealer add-ons even that was not mentioned on the dealers site. When I pointed that the up charges were not anywhere on the website, I was told that if I’d come into the dealership, I’d have seen *their* window sticker that listed the aftermarket up charge (nevermind the one published online by both the manufacturer and dealer). They also attempted to explain that the salesman initially misspoke and instead the car was delivered to a different site the day before and had all those after market items added there and then was brought to this location today. Which might make sense, but again, remember that “in transit” part of the website. The manufacturer says their site updates each night, so if the car was delivered yesterday, it would have listed as “on dealer lot” today. Too bad they abruptly ended the conversation before I could share that tid bit of information. Bottom line, the dealer ended the conversation on their own terms and ultimately lost a sale. They also engaged in deceptive advertising practices that could land them in hot water with the FTC. Most people don’t know it, but the FTC requires advertisements to include, and disclose in full, the price a consumer can expect to pay for a product. That pricing disclosure is supposed to be honest and include any discounts, sales, markdowns that apply to the product’s sales price. For what it’s worth, the FTC also says the old bait and switch tactic is deceptive and illegal. Save your $$ and find a dealer that isn’t shady. More

My experience at Texan Thursday was a perfect example of the stereotypical used car salesman. Made an appointment and went in to buy a 2021 Blue Jeep Wrangler. They wouldn't honor the $39040 listed on thei the stereotypical used car salesman. Made an appointment and went in to buy a 2021 Blue Jeep Wrangler. They wouldn't honor the $39040 listed on their website along with other fees they tried to pass off on me. They said I'd never get a better rate than 7% (they started at 11%). When I tried to break it down to explain, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Friday I went to Gillman Dodge and I bought the IDENTICAL Jeep in Yellow. Paid $37830 for 72 months @ 2.39 APR. Would NEVER recommend Texan Dodge to anyone. More
I brought my gladiator in for service, when I left my tire pressure light came on. I brought it back the next day & told my service advisor, Edgar about what’s going on w/my vehicle. I told him all I nee tire pressure light came on. I brought it back the next day & told my service advisor, Edgar about what’s going on w/my vehicle. I told him all I needed was a reset w/the scan tool. He claimed they did that but that I had a faulty sensor. Well why not replace the sensor if the vehicle is still under warranty? But I know that’s not the issue because I’ve had this happen before at this dealer. The light came back on, I brought it back now they’re telling me that after they perform tire rotations that they don’t use the scan tool to relearn tire positions & that I have aftermarket tire sensors that’s why my light is on. My light wasn’t on until I brought it in for tire rotation. Now I’m stuck with a service tire system light on due to their negligence & poor customer service. Never go here for service!! All they do is lie to you to get you out of their hair! More
Don't ever buy a car here!!! This is nmy 2nd complaint. I was given 3-free oil changes and tire rotations and I only used the service once, went back for 2nd oil change and they said the contract was void I was given 3-free oil changes and tire rotations and I only used the service once, went back for 2nd oil change and they said the contract was void. The receptionist transferred me to the cashier because the managers were out to lunch. The cashier took my name and number and Troy the manger was suppose to call me back... guess what he never did. When I initially bought my vehicle the advantage care plan was all and then removed without tell me. I made an appt. for my 1st oil change no one knew what I was talking about. Spole with the salesman SAMUEL and he looked at me like I was crazy and offered to pay for half my gas. He is a liarer and once the sale is complete he is worthless!!! After posting negative review, the General Manager reached out to me; shortly thereafter, the another manager LUPE HERNANDEZ contacted me and gave me the 3 free oil changes and tire rotations. I'm upset because I've gone through this once, and yet again the service department doesn't have a clue about anything. My husband sat in the service department for over an hour and no one tried to resolve the issue. I was at work on the phone trying to get the matter resolved. More

Recently purchased a Jeep Gladiator and our salesman James took great care of my wife and I. Though I was apprehensive about visiting this dealership and had been told to go to a competing dealership, James took great care of my wife and I. Though I was apprehensive about visiting this dealership and had been told to go to a competing dealership, I found James to be straight forward and very helpful. Had to watch the paperwork in the finance office, but I've learned that to be the case no matter where I have purchased a vehicle. More

Well just to start this out by saying the service department at this establishment is a down right joke and only deserves the lowest rating that can be given. about 2 years ago i bought my wife her department at this establishment is a down right joke and only deserves the lowest rating that can be given. about 2 years ago i bought my wife her new grand cherokee from them and upon buying it they had to repair some paint that had been damaged in the lot. we got the jeep back about a week after buying it and quickly realized that the section that was repaired was a completely different red then the rest of the jeep and when i said something to them about it they told me that it was the best they could do and walked away from me. at that point i was furious and took the jeep home and fought to get ahold of the service manager. he told me to bring it back in so he could look at it and he quickly responded with that isn’t right and sent it back to be repaired again. well im going though all of this crap again with ther sh!!ty paint job flaking and bubbling up and now the service team will not put me through to a manager and nor will they return my calls. now it looks like i will have to fork out several thousand to get ther sh!!ty work fixed by professionals like i said this dealership is a xxxx joke and should be put out of business More
Mr Martinez was very helpful and will to work the deal. He was knowledgeable of the product and willing to share the information. Most important he was professional and not pushy.
