Service Managers Keep You Informed I had my VW oil changed at one of the Jiffy / Express locations. Realized that they didn't reset the service light, so I made an appointment at VW to I had my VW oil changed at one of the Jiffy / Express locations. Realized that they didn't reset the service light, so I made an appointment at VW to reset the warning light. On the way there I realized that I did not get an oil change reminder sticker for my windshield from the Express place either, so I decided to have the oil and filter changed at VW; have it done right. When I arrived I met Ronnie who greeted me with a warm welcome and was anxious to get things right. While I was there I asked about a rattle my wife heard and asked if he could have it checked out. No problem. Turns out it was probably a rear brake that needed repair. He was able to fit me in with a minimum of waiting and complete the repair. Jonathan gave me the bill, which I thought was totally reasonable considering the time and effort that the techs put in. All along the way either Ronnie or Jonathan kept me informed of the progress of the work. Could not be happier with the service I received at VW Autobarn of Countryside. Great place to take your car. More
Bad experience with Autobarn Subaru Their idea of a background check is to charge your credit card with a subscription to White Pages Premium and Instant Checkmate. I found out the next month that these were billed every month. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid monthly charges. Don't expect any assistance from their sales department after you bought the car. This never happened to me with Toyota. They lost a customer. I won't even have my car serviced there. And yes, my check cleared for the price of the car. Really bad dealership. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. More

regular routine maintenance I appreciated the time the service department took on such short notice to service my 2017 crosstrek. i called that day for an oil change and tire rot I appreciated the time the service department took on such short notice to service my 2017 crosstrek. i called that day for an oil change and tire rotation and mentiioned only when i got there that i lost most of my channels on my xm satelite radio. When i arrived at 5:15pm, my scheduled appointment time, i mentioned my radio problem. Sam told me they could do the reset then also. I waited for my auto service to be completed, and the service manager came out and told me, that it would take another 40 miniutes because of 4 downloads needed to get it back to normal. I told him no problem, and i would wait for the work to be done. When it was completed, I noticed it was quitting time for the dealership. I have only the most gratitude for the people at the Subaru Autobarn for their professional work they provide their customers. More
