After some initial contact with dealership manager Richard (who was also extremely helpful), we began working with Steve, who listened to our needs and guided us through the process with ease. There was no high pressure or gamesmanship - just a sincere desire to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible. This was especially gratifying considering that the XC40 is a new model in high demand. When it came time to pick up our new car, once again the process was simple and seamless. We had visited a number of dealerships looking at a variety of makes and models (including another Volvo dealership), and the experience at The Autobarn Volvo Oak Park was by far and away the best. Great experience from start to finish We were looking to replace our old beloved car with something new. After deciding we wanted a Volvo, we of course looked at The Autobarn Volvo of Oak We were looking to replace our old beloved car with something new. After deciding we wanted a Volvo, we of course looked at The Autobarn Volvo of Oak Park first because we live in Oak Park. We visited the showroom and were met by sales consultant Darrell Reimer who sat with us to discuss what we wanted. He showed us the model vehicles we were considering, walked through the various options that were available, and helped us find the perfect car for us. During this process we learned of the many benefits of purchasing a vehicle from the Oak Park showroom including the onsite maintenance facility which would be caring for our car, the easy process for getting maintenance performed including delivery of a loaner car to our home when they would pick up our car for service - making the maintenance process as easy and seamless as possible, and of course the free lifetime car washes for our car. Once we finished the paperwork our customer concierge and delivery specialist Eilidh O'Brien took over and went through every aspect of the vehicle with us making us comfortable with our new purchase. She even said we could come back again (and again) to get a refresher on the car features if we wanted. All in all this is a first class dealership and I would highly recommend them if you are considering a new or Certified used Volvo. The only negative part of the experience was a lack of available cars in the style that we were considering. This isn't really a dealership issue though as I understand the XC40 which we wanted is very popular and a new style so availability is limited. More
