During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was though that test driving a car would be not feasible, but the Frederick Motor Company had a well designed process that made the experience safe, easy, and provided peace of mind. This process was greatly improved over other dealers in the Maryland area. I was genuinely shocked with the Frederick Motor Company's engagement; there were no hassling phone calls, texts, emails, I was allowed to shop for the car, ask questions openly, and process information about option packages at my leisure. Truly a different and very much appreciate car buying experience! Lastly, my dealer Mr. Grant Schely provided exceptional customer services, again, without the 'usual' car dealer hustle and pressures. Not only was he knowledgeable about the vehicles, answered all my questions in thorough detail, but at no part in the process did he apply pressure to buy, but allowed a relaxed car buying experience while still being acutely attentive to my needs and questions. There were no written numbers haphazardly written on blank papers to mentally calculate and struggle with, instead these were neatly organized with full transparency. We were able to negotiate online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and he still managed to provide attentive responses, without applying pressure. I wish all my previous car buying experiences were like this one. If you want a thorough complete car buying experience without feeling pressured with complete details upfront- definitely ask for Grant at the Frederick Motor Company. More

Upon entering, Shannon Beall helped me look at various Ford models in stock relevant to my interests, and addressed approximate financing rates for each one. Once I concluded that a Ford wasn't right for me and my needs however, I was directed over to the Subaru division where I met Bernardo Manaloto. Addressing the same guidelines for what I desired in a car, he quickly put me behind the wheel of a 2020 Subaru Impreza that I immediately fell in love with. After gathering the relevant documents and adjusting my insurance with Bernardo's help, Pat Blackwood took over to assist with the financing aspect. Every document I signed was efficiently and diligently explained and he made sure my cosigner and I were 100% on the same page throughout the entire process. The process was crystal clear and ultimately quite easy the whole way through, and I really enjoyed my car buying experience. At other locations, some salesmen and finance associates can really take the excitement away from you. At Frederick Motor Company Ford/Subaru locations, the excitement lasts throughout the entire process and they make sure they've done the bulk of the work for you. By far, the best customer service experience I've received at any dealership in the past - with fantastic warranty and finance options! Lastly, it's worth noting that they were interested in MY concerns, not just with making a pretty penny from selling me the most expensive car on the lot. All parties involved provided exceptional customer service that is unmatched. I have never been inclined to write a review until my experience here. Thank you Frederick Motor Company!!! More

Grant has such expert product knowledge that he not only answered ALL our questions before the purchase, but is even helping us learn the car AFTER our purchase. I began interacting with Janie Silbernagel and quickly came to an agreement on both the price of the new car and on the value of my trade-in. I then interacted with Patrick Blackwood and Kevin Cacciola to define the financing terms. Finally, Tyler Biser delivered the vehicle to my home and finalized the deal. Everybody I interacted with at Frederick Subaru was extremely responsive, courteous, and professional at every step of the process. I felt extremely valued as a customer. This has easily been the best car buying experience I had so far, and I will definitely consider Frederick Subaru to get my next new car. More
The Best Car Buying Experience We've Had I have purchased many cars over my lifetime, but our experience with Grant Schley has to be the finest yet, Grant took the time to ask "probing quest I have purchased many cars over my lifetime, but our experience with Grant Schley has to be the finest yet, Grant took the time to ask "probing questions" as to what our needs were...and would potentially be in the years to come. However, the top reason we purchased the Forester was the painstaking quality demonstration of the vehicle we were considering. The explanations Grant provided were clear and easily understood. Other experiences we had in the shopping experience - in comparison - fell far short of the excellence Grant brings to the entire process. He made it seem effortless, yet we know he is well ex perienced at what he does...and it showed. The only thing is...if you want to have Grant assist you...he IS VERY busy and you just have to stay with it! When you DO make your appointment...you will have his undivided attention and assistance! We are glad we did stay with it and Grant made very much worth our while. By the way...we purchased a vehicle much more expensive than we wanted to...because the demonstration Grant provided built VALUE in the car which - in the long run - needed to be foremost in our decision. We do not regret our purchase in the least and are very satisfied with the Forester Touring, Grant Schley and The Frederick Motor Company. (*This is our 6th car from Frederick Motor Company!) More
