From the minute we walked into the dealership to get my van serviced, we were met with smiling faces and very friendly people. Mark Carlson was especially helpful. Mark told me where the waiting room was and then told that there was a waiting room with toys, separate TV, child-friendly books and magazines and child-sized chairs. My daughter was much happier here than in the regular waiting room. As soon as Mark heard from the service department that my van was going to take a little longer to fix than originally anticipated, he arranged for Enterprise to pick me up and get me a rental car for the day. (He asked if this was ok with me before doing so, but he did check into my extended warranty for me.) Mark went above and beyond to help me understand what was going on with my van, make my daughter and I comfortable and especially to help arrange for me to get a rental car. Everyone we encountered today at Honda of Joliet was incredibly friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable when I had a question. More

After years of dealing with repairs on our Jeep Liberty Renegade, which was the worst vehicle we ever had, we did a lot of research to find the most reliable vehicle out there, and Honda Pilot came up at t Renegade, which was the worst vehicle we ever had, we did a lot of research to find the most reliable vehicle out there, and Honda Pilot came up at the top of the list. We shopped many different dealerships and the most friendly dealership by far is Honda of Joliet and the best salesperson is Josh Tornabeni. He was attentive to our needs, he was a great listener, and he was very knowledgable and friendly. Most of all he didn't smother us like salepeople at other dealerships in the area. He gave us time to think everything through. So besides the Honda Pilot being a great quality vehicle and having a nice low price, Josh Tornabeni's exceptional customer service won us over and we purchased our new Honda Pilot and are extremely happy with the overall experience. My grandson totalled his 2009 Honda Civic he had previously purchased from Oren. We were looking to replace it with a similar car that was close to the one he had. Frankly, my husband and I really when purchasing a Honda vehicle you will not be let down if you go to Honda of Joliet and work with Josh Tornabeni. Frankly, my husband and I really do not relish the thought of having to deal with high-pressure sales people in order to purchase a new car and we were dreading the experience. We were so very lucky to find Josh Tornabeni at Honda of Joliet. After introductions, Josh gave us a detailed tour of the minivan in which we were interested. We then went for a ride. After returning to the dealership, we shared with Josh we were also considering another make and model and needed to think about it. At this point, we expected to hear a long variety of high-pressure sales pitches as to why we should go ahead and buy the Honda but that didn’t happen! Rather, he simply said that he would be ready to answer any questions we may need answered and to call him anytime. He asked if we would be willing to leave an email address and we did but anticipated we would be getting a barrage of emails. That never happened! Over the course of more than a week we received only two emails, one from the manager just checking to make sure Josh did a complete job of answering our questions and one follow-up from Josh himself. When we finally decided on the Honda Odyssey, we called Josh and he had it sitting in front of the dealership when we arrived. Again, there was still no pressure to purchase! Every time we had a question, Josh would stop everything and remind us his goal was to make sure we comfortable with our decisions whether it was picking the right color or choosing optional accessories. Throughout the entire process, Josh was professional and very accommodating. After the paperwork was completed, Josh took the time to give us a tour of the entire facility. He introduced us to the managers of both the service department and the parts department and made sure that we had their business cards too. Before turning the vehicle over to us, he made sure our phones were properly synced to the Bluetooth and we knew how to fully utilize all of the new devices. We highly recommend working with Josh if you are considering a Honda vehicle. He really knows his product and he has the customer’s interest at heart.
