I would like to start of by thanking all the folks at Honda of Joliet that made my, otherwise stressful experience of replacing a car that had just been totaled in an accident, an easy and even enjoyable Honda of Joliet that made my, otherwise stressful experience of replacing a car that had just been totaled in an accident, an easy and even enjoyable experience. It says even more that this is the second Honda Insight that I have bought, both of which, were purchased from Kurt at Honda of Joliet. As soon as I was notified of the total loss by my insurance company, I got on the phone with Suzanne in their finance department to find out what steps that I had to take to and what assistance they could provide to make the process easier. Much to my dismay, I was staring a $6,000 dollar loan to MSRP difference in the face, due to previous irresponsible purchases; which, thanks to Suzanne talking me into GAP Insurance when I purchased my first Insight at Honda of Joliet, she informed me that I was eligible for a GAP claim, which, could cover this near $6,000 difference. Not only did she inform me of this, she also prepared all the documents that I needed to submit the claim. The GAP Administrator was actually shocked when I called and read off every document that they needed and asked me where I got their checklist from! While Suzanne was researching what the requirements would be to secure financing on my second vehicle, Kurt was patiently presenting me with all of my options and what impact the different options that I had would have on the bottom line, otherwise known as the monthly payment. In the end, Kurt showed me a used Insight that reminded me of my last Insight, and I just couldn't say no to the low sticker price and the HUGE savings at the gas pump. I can't say how much I love passing gas stations with an ear to ear smile on my face! After the number crunching by Suzanne and a few slices of pizza and some laughs, courtesy of Dan Mac and Kurt, I was on my way out the door with a near mint Honda Insight, and a big smile on my face, and not just because I drove past another gas station ;) Thanks Kurt, Dan & Suzanne! We came to Honda of Joliet to check out a Pilot Touring that we saw on the internet. We spotted it behind a fleet of other Pilots, so we went straight to look at it. Josh came out to greet us as we express that we saw on the internet. We spotted it behind a fleet of other Pilots, so we went straight to look at it. Josh came out to greet us as we expressed our interest in the Touring over the other Pilots. No questions asked, he grabbed the keys for the other Pilots to move them out of the way, so we can test drive the one we were most interested in. As we drove around, he informed us of all the features it had to offer, and answered any questions that we had. Once we got back, he showed us some of the features from the outside. As we sat down to negotiate a deal, we felt no pressure to buy today. He gave us some numbers and explained what was what, everything was black and white with no grey areas. Once we came to agreement, he congratulated us on our purchase, and showed us around the service area, He also took time to show us everything under the hood (which my husband really liked). All in all it was a very pleasant car buying experience, and we would DEFINATELY recommend Honda of Joliet and Josh to everyone we could!!! Thanks for everything! More

We looked not even thinking of a new car, but after Brian explained the fantastic discounts and rebates, we realized it now fit our budget. Josh Tornabeni, as sales agent, worked for me to solve a quasi-emergency for a college daughter stranded without a vehicle (stranded in Tulsa). He was not afforded much time, but instead of complaining, he quasi-emergency for a college daughter stranded without a vehicle (stranded in Tulsa). He was not afforded much time, but instead of complaining, he went to work. He found a vehicle that met my described requirements regarding fuel economy, engine reliability, mechanical soundness, and general decent look. He also stayed within my budget. He further found me a car that for its age ('04) had quite low mileage (76,000), and expertly described one mechanical feature that gave me great confidence in the design of the automobile. Josh accommodated my work schedule by being available late at night for a test drive (Friday eve.); and most importantly, he advocated on the customer's behalf (mine) with regard to an issue I noticed on the test drive (pulling to the right). The next day, when my schedule was a bit more relaxed, Josh got his high-quality Honda Certified mechanic involved for my benefit, who diagnosed the problem, and then the Dealership (via Sales Manager, Andrew) fairly and quickly handled the needed repair before delivering the car to me. My problem was very unique, in that two days after the test drive, my wife needed to have the car in Tulsa, OK for my daughter. Nine+ hours of straight, hot weather driving left no room for error or mechanical defect. Josh never quibbled about my high pressure time table, and his manager backed him up, even though all the working parts of the company had to be orchestrated to satisfy the customer's needs. The end result is that because of Josh's personality (up for a challenge and positive but business-like), and because his Dealership (Honda of Joliet) backed him up when the customer needed extra service, and because Josh was willing to burn a Saturday night delivering an expertly-repaired car to a customer (who could not alter his schedule), the car was ready to go, handled beautifully all the way to Tulsa, and the daughter reportedly is ecstatic about the selection made by father and Josh. Josh Tornabeni is a certifiable problem-solver! Honda of Joliet backs up their Sales Agent on the front line, bringing Company resources to bear without hesitating. I will likely become a Honda customer for future car purchases. If I do, I will return to Honda of Joliet, even though it is 1.5 hours from my hometown. Management needs to give an "attaboy" to both Josh and Andrew, and lets not forget the mechanic who extended his work shift to assist in the mechanical problem solving.
