Found the Honda I wanted.A 2010 CRV EX-L. Sales person was Brian Krakowski.He was excellent in every aspect. Even took extra time to go over Nav Sys.with me. Car was washed,gassed up and ready to go. Went in for a oil change and came out with a number of items needing to be addressed. Went in the next day and ended up paying two grand with almost $1300 in labor costs for a days worth of work. After finding an Accord Coupe listed on-line, I took a ride to Honda of Joliet one night after dinner to see the car first-hand. I found the vehicle and went into the used car building to find someone to ride to Honda of Joliet one night after dinner to see the car first-hand. I found the vehicle and went into the used car building to find someone to help me. There was an young woman there who called a salesperson to come and help me. I forget her name, but she was extremely personable and I genuinely enjoyed speaking with her. Richie Moffett was the salesperson who came to help me. We walked out to see the car, and I told him he was lucky that the woman I was speaking to wasn't in sales! Richie and I went for a test drive, during which he showed me many features of the car. He was obviously VERY familiar with the functionality of all the options on the vehicle. We got back to the dealership and had a brief conversation about price and where I wanted to be. I told him I still wanted to look at a Nissan Altima Coupe, but that I liked the Honda. Richie did not discourage me, but was very confident that I would be back for the Accord. Of course, he was right! I felt that I got a good price on the Accord. The only number that I asked to be adjusted was the initial offer on my trade-in. The dealership raised the offer to where I requested, and the deal was set. It was very hot outside the day I bought the car, and Richie had it pulled into the showroom to keep it cool! The business (forget her name too!) was very helpful with arranging new plates and in our discussion about an extended warranty plan. I was very comfortable with the entire experience and would strongly recommend anyone looking to purchase a car to look at Honda of Joliet. They were professional, considerate and enjoyable to deal with. More
KURT WAS VERY PATIENT AND HELPFUL. AS A TEACHER OF 25 YEARS, YOU QUICKLY LEARN THAT NOT ALL "STUDENTS" LEARN THE SAME WAY AND "TRUE" LEARNING COMES WHEN YOU PRESENT INFORMTION IN SEVERAL WAYS. HE ACCOMM YEARS, YOU QUICKLY LEARN THAT NOT ALL "STUDENTS" LEARN THE SAME WAY AND "TRUE" LEARNING COMES WHEN YOU PRESENT INFORMTION IN SEVERAL WAYS. HE ACCOMMODATED THE AUDITORY LEARNER (THROUGH EXPLAINING THE MANUALS) AND THE VISUAL/KINESTIC LEARNER (THROUGH DEMONSTRATING…”HANDS ON”). HE ALSO CHECKED FOR UNDERSTANDING...BY ASKING ME QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VEHICLE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WHEN HE EXTENDED A FOLLOW-UP VISIT IN TWO WEEKS (IF NEEDED). I FOUND KURT TO BE VERY "USER FRIENDLY!" MAYBE HE SHOULD CONSIDER A CAREER IN EDUCATION!!! THE ONLY SUGGESTION I CAN OFFER IS...SINCE, I PURCHASED A SHOWROOM VEHICLE, BEFORE REMOVING ANY ACCESSORIES, PLEASE INFORM THE CONSUMER/CUSTOMER, FIRST. I have owned a Honda off and on since 1992. Everyone at Joliet Honda are kind and professional. I have all my maintenance done at the honda dealer, no where else, as these are the people I trust. I purchased my car in the Naperville location where I had great service, however I live in Joliet and often have my vehicle serviced at the Honda Superstore of Joliet. Every time I visit this location I am greeted with a smile and what I consider excellent customer service. This past week I went in to have my oil changed and was greeted by Heidi Gross, a pleasant woman who greeted me like she knew me. Honda is very lucky to have an employee like Heidi! Also, last month I went in to have my brakes done and was helped by Riley Niznik. As I was in the waiting area this past week Riley greeted me by name, asked me how my job was going.... he remembered all those things just meeting me one time.
