Very pleasant experience overall. The dealership has a nice atmosphere and it sure seems like they all get along and have a good time and are nice and welcoming without hounding you. We bought a new car and requested a color and interior that was not available nearby - no worries, they wanted to make sure that's the one we wanted and we were OK with a few miles on it due to the drive to Joliet then they went on a road trip and got it for us. They didn't give us a guilt trip or try to change our minds or try to change the price. And, when we picked the car up they had it washed and waxed and the tank full. The paperwork process was smooth - Suzanne in finance was quite nice - no hard sells. Very good people. Great prices. Customer focused. Would definitely do business here again. More
Mike Reznik was refreshing. He wasn't one of those high energy (slick hair) salesmen that promises you everything and then when the paperwork is about to be signed, "Whoops, we made a mistake." I did my research on my trade-in value, what I owed on my current vehicle, what the value is on the vehicle that I wanted to purchase before I went in. Mike ended up giving me more than I owed on my trade-in, gave me the vehicle that I bought at less than I expected and didn't expect a penny in downpayment. He also wasn't afraid to offer me after market stuff that I need (DVD entertainment center for my kids). No, he didn't pay for it....I added it to my financed total, but some guys don't like to bother with the aftermarket stuff because they don't make any money and they have to do a little more paperwork. Anyway, Mike was a very straight shooter. I've owned my new car for such a short time, but I've already planned on going back to see Mike Reznick for years to come. One additional thing of note is that I went into the "business office" to sign all of my paperwork, it took about 7 minutes....they have a streamlined process that is painless. My 2008 Honda Civic has 208,000 miles and still works as good now as it did when I bought it new. My grandson needed a car so I grudgingly gave up my Civic for a 2013 Honda Civic. My new Civic is even better than my old Civic - I am very pleased and so is my grandson. Everything about Honda of Joliet is very good - I strongly recommend both the car and dealership to anyone looking to update. The service department at the dealership is especially good! My wife is also driving her second Honda minivan and she loves her vehicle as much as I love mine. Thank you Honda! More
After looking at many different Honda locations, we came to Honda of Joliet for our Honda Odyssey purchase. The other dealers in the Chicago land area were pushy and tried to force our purchase using the sa to Honda of Joliet for our Honda Odyssey purchase. The other dealers in the Chicago land area were pushy and tried to force our purchase using the same salesman tactics. We were expecting nothing different at Honda of Joliet. We wanted to take our time in deciding between the Honda and the Toyota and wanted to make our decision objectively. At other dealers we were rushed and were not given enough time to make an objective analysis. This Honda dealership was different. Kurt Holzinger, our sales person, never once looked at his watch and was extremely patient in explaining each and every feature. He did very clear comparisons with Toyota and pointed out where the Toyota more than matched the Honda and where Honda had the edge. This showed us that he knew his cars and his competitor as well. We did our research and found what he told us was accurate and was not tinged with Honda sales spiel. He did not try to up sell to us, while that may not dovetail with classic marketing or sales paradigms, he gave us the information we needed and left the decision making to us which is what we liked. During our test drive, he explained the features to my wife who was sitting at the back and did not interrupt my driving experience. When my wife was driving, he explained the features to me. His boss, Daryl is also a very soft spoken person who did not fake love for us. They gave us their best information and told us in as many words to go back and compare to make the best decision viz-a-vis the cars and price. He answered all our questions and followed up later if we had any questions for us. He gave us a complete breakdown on the prices, taxes, cashback, trade in etc. We went back and did the financial analysis on our end and found another dealer who was cheaper by $300. We called Kurt and he matched the price and gave us a better deal on our used car as well. This showed me, they were willing to go and get the deal. When we went to buy the car, there were zero surprises. We got the deal we wanted, the pricing on the documentation matched what we were told and the car we wanted. Kurt and Daryl were extremely professional as well as nice. The experience of car buying was smooth and we were not slammed with unnecessary charges or unknowns. I would recommend Honda of Joliet for a good and professional car buying experience. More

This is the second car I have purchased from your dealership, my third honda. (In 2006 you were under construction and had little inventory.) Our salesman Ubaldo Rodriguez was very pleasant and likable from our first meeting. He readily answered all of our questions and allowed us time to think without any pressure, and in the end made us a great deal. The woman in the finance department was very accomodating with the financing and extended warrenty information. She, too, was very friendly. When my car was ready go Ubaldo was very thorough in explaining all of the new electronics. The service department did a great job of having the new floor/trunk mats and splash guards installed. I have exclusively used your service department since 1998, because I have unquestionable faith in their abilities. We were so impresed with Ubaldos' sales technique that we now feel any time we are in need of a new car we have a go-to person. I came to Honda because of the reputation Honda brings to the table. What I received, however, was FAR more than I ever could have anticipated or expected. They provided world class service at a time when I believe we are lucky if we get any service what-so-ever. I had a challenging situation at hand and they both took every opportunity to figure out a way to make my situation work so that I could get the car I truly wanted and come out being totally satisfied! I visited many dealerships before ending up at Honda of Joliet and none of them could even come close in comparing to the level of professionalism and care that these individuals displayed in assisting me. I actually felt as though they were like family, doing so much to help me at every step of the selection and buying process. I will recommend this dealership, and Josh and Joe, to everyone I know.
