I am very happy with my experience at Theodore Robins Ford. I was in the market for a pre-owned Ford Fusion Energi, and I had contacted (and visited) dealerships all over Southern California to find one Ford. I was in the market for a pre-owned Ford Fusion Energi, and I had contacted (and visited) dealerships all over Southern California to find one with all the features I wanted. I finally found what I was looking for here. When I first emailed, Darren Ricci from the Internet Sales department got right back to me. He informed me that the vehicle had JUST arrived to the dealership and was not ready yet but that I would be more than welcome to come check it out, which I did later that day. He was in on his day off, but was still there to greet me when I arrived. He made me a cup of freshly brewed coffee after a long day and a long drive, which was much appreciated. Since he was with another customer at the time, he introduced me to Phil Chis, who took over from there. I quickly discovered that I was in great hands. Phil took fantastic care of me. I didn’t feel like I was at a car lot the whole time. I felt like I had a personal assistant taking care of all the necessary details, making the entire process as pain free as possible. He brought me out to the service area so I could see the car, answered my many questions and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle and the purchase. Phil went way above and beyond. Even though his shift was almost over, since I had an appointment to get to before we could complete the paperwork, he agreed to go home for a bit, then come back in when I returned almost 3 hours later (rush hour to/from LA). He offered me more coffee and made sure I was comfortable while waiting for the finance guy, Pablo, to be free, and brought me back out to the service area to look at the car again, even though it was up on the lift. Pablo was patient while I crunched numbers and compared terms. I came in with a preapproval for the financing but he was able to get me a slightly better rate, which was nice. After the business aspect was complete, Phil continued to go above and beyond. My vehicle wasn’t quite ready yet, still requiring the inspection, a bit of servicing, new tires, and a complete detail, but Phil made sure it was top priority, got it done early, and stayed in contact with me the whole time. I had my new car in gorgeous shape, ready for the beginning of my work week thanks to his efforts. It was even his day off the day it was ready, but he was 100% on the job, giving me updates on ready time, and coming in again when he should have been enjoying his day off. By the time my Energi was back from the detail shop, sparkling clean, the car rental place next door was closed for the day. Phil was again the hero, following me to the airport to drop my rental off there. He helped me move my things from the trunk of the rental to my new car, and even had me stop at the gas station on the way back to the dealership for some fuel on the house. He also took the time (nearing closing time and on his day off!) to acquaint me with all the features of my new (to me) car and be sure I knew how to charge it and operate all of the unfamiliar features. I commend Phil for his outstanding customer service. He almost made me forget the headache of used car shopping I had experienced thus far! I would be more than happy to purchase my next vehicle from him, although hopefully not for several years, as I really love my new ride!! Thank you Phil, Darren and the rest of the T. Robins team!! The price on the Pre-owned 2015 Ford Flex we found online was honored. They paid us $800.00 for our trade-in which was $300.00 more than we were hoping for. We had our own financing through Bank of America at a great rate and they didn't give us one ounce of grief or try to steer us to use their financing. We did buy their bumper to bumper warranty because they gave us a great rate as well as the security system. Normally I would never buy these aftermarket upgrades. Our salesman, Phil actually drove to our home in Anaheim to make sure the security system was all set-up correctly. Like others have said you make the Ford Company proud and we are very happy customers! Oh I almost forgot that our bank needed the contract changed to just my name and I was able to come in the next day and they got that knocked out in 30 minutes! More

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame om me". Bad idea...after inquiring about the payoff and the purchase of an extended warranty, some clown named RAFI called me back on Monday Dec. 17, 2018 with big promises of how he was going to "take care" of me and my transaction. He even acknowledged the previous horrible experience and vowed to do better. Total B.S. Now 10 days later and mere days before the expiration of my lease, RAFI remains MIA...no return phone call, no pay-off quote, no quote on the extended warranty. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Thank you Theodore Robbins for the lesson #2. Whether dealing with service or buying a car...Your customer service sucks! More

Amazing Service, Quality People! I LOVE THIS DEALERSHIP. I brought in my 2014 Ford Focus for service this past week on a transmission issue and was greeted by the nicest service advis I LOVE THIS DEALERSHIP. I brought in my 2014 Ford Focus for service this past week on a transmission issue and was greeted by the nicest service advisor named Pete Ferra. He listened to what I thought the problem was, showed his humble knowledge, and reassured me that they would fix the vehicle so that it would be safe to drive. Bob, the shuttle driver, drove me to work so I didn't have any huge disruption in my day (and he also was an absolute joy- kind, personable, and a safe driver). Pete called me a few hours later and told me they would fix the problem, not to worry, and that they would have it back to me the next day. They had it back and done when I needed it, did a multi-point inspection to ensure nothing else was wrong, and washed it so it was PERFECT when I got it back. As a young female, whenever I walk into a dealership/auto shop by myself I am nervous that I might be upsold on things that I don't need or be taken advantage of. That was NOT the case at Theodore Robins Ford. I left happy and reassured that I got the best service and care possible. Take your Ford to Theodore Robins Ford! You'll be SO happy that you did. More

In my purchase of a new Edge SUV, I worked with Dean Hammond who spent quite a bit of time helping me to define the specific version of this vehicle. It was built to my requirements and while it took more weeks that expected to get delivery, I was very pleased with the result, with only one exception - the roof rails I thought I was buying turned out to be only trim, firmly laying on the roof making it impossible to attach anything to them. How stupid can that be? But that's what can happen when you buy off a catalog instead of seeing a physical implementation. On the good side, the interior of this car is much more spacious than I was expecting in a mid-sized SUV. And I have never driven a car with such a smooth transmission. And Dean helped me obtain what I believe was a good price for this car. And now with 5000 miles, I have experienced my first meeting with Ned in the service dept. Of course this was merely for an oil change but the communication and attention left me with no complaints other than the hour and a half that I had to wait. Next time, Ned tells me that I can shorten that time with a finite appointment. More
