Oil change I took my car in for an oil change and also got my tires rotated and an engine air filter changed as well. It was recommended to get a throttle body c I took my car in for an oil change and also got my tires rotated and an engine air filter changed as well. Service/body shop useless My salesman was awesome. Everything after was honestly the worst. Bought a truck with the understanding they would fix the rust on the bed near the wh My salesman was awesome. Everything after was honestly the worst. Bought a truck with the understanding they would fix the rust on the bed near the wheel wells and replace the tailgate. They never gave me options for the rust removal but gave me a quoted price without any details. I financed it In with the truck. They had the truck for 3 weeks after multiple calls they didn’t quote the price correctly with replacing the tailgate. After talking with the sales manager (Jim) they replaced the tailgate. I was happy looked good minus the Z71 stickers not even being close to matching each other in placement. After 5 days the paint where they “fixed the rust” started to bubble I called the body shop and was told it was rust work so no warranty. Also talked to the sales manager again and he said the same thing. Now it’s been about two weeks and the paint is bubbling in more spots then where there was even rust. Honestly the rust would have looked better now. The bubbles is everywhere they painted. I have taken it to other shops and they told me they did not prep the surface correctly or did not wait for it to dry. Two different shops have said this. Now I am out the money because I financed it with the truck. I could have just bought a used southern bed for the price I paid for them to take care of the rust. Now I’m out of the money and the bed actually looks worse. I would stay away from any of the Thomas dealers. If their workers don’t take pride in their work and the managers back this horrible work what else are they doing with what you can’t see? More
