My husband and I can honestly say our recent experience at Thomas Nissan in Joliet IL was the best one in all our years of purchasing vehicles. We went in expecting the usual aggressive sales tactics of pr at Thomas Nissan in Joliet IL was the best one in all our years of purchasing vehicles. We went in expecting the usual aggressive sales tactics of pressure to make a decision in a minute, have to buy warranty, having to wait an hour while someone goes to "check something with the manager," almost to the point of being threatened with a whole different price if we did not go forward right there on the spot. Total time spent at such a place would always be at least 3 hrs, sometimes 4. Much to our surprise, none of these actions took place at the Thomas dealership. When we said what we wanted to do, they did not have 3 or more people try to change our minds. The people we worked with were able to get us what we asked for with a low interest rate. After about one hour, we were leaving with exactly what we wanted and our car cleaned and washed for us. We would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy or lease a vehicle. We want to again say Thank You to Ben, Matt, and Mike. A little extra Thanks to Matt for taking time to "visit" with us while we waited on the paperwork and car wash. Cliff & Paulette Denney More

On the evening of 7/25/2013 my husband and I left a Nissan Dealership dissatisfied with their lack of a good deal on a 2013 Nissan Altima SV. At 7:55pm I called Thomas Nissan dealership and spoke w/ J Nissan Dealership dissatisfied with their lack of a good deal on a 2013 Nissan Altima SV. At 7:55pm I called Thomas Nissan dealership and spoke w/ Jose Barrera because they advertised the same vehicle for $21, 410.00; whereas the other dealership was asking for $25, 600.00. We drove to Thomas Nissan in Joliet (we live in Chicago, IL). We had the distinct pleasure of meeting, Jose, Ben, Mike, Al and Doug. From start to finish these gentlemen worked diligently not only to retrieve a great deal for my husband and I, but we were treated like royalty. The original Nissan dealership produced a deal of 9.4% financing; 72-months w/ a car note that would have been through the roof! My Thomas Nissan Team were able to produce: 0.9% financing w/ Nissan Corp. And...wait for it... we were able to upgrade from the SV to a SL (which is the top of the line of the Altimas). We simply wanted a moonroof to be added, yet received soooooo much more!!! A description of my guys: Jose - is VERY THOROUGH, does not miss a beat and makes you feel extremely comfortable; Ben - is the #'s guy! BEN MADE IT HAPPEN!!! Mike - is the manager (overseer) an all around NICE GUY! AL - is our finance guy, he made us feel very comfortable during our final steps of purchase. Doug - is the saleman who assisted Jose with us...Doug missed his calling as stand-up comedian. Doug is a riot! I will recommend this dealership to everyone. I normally have no trust in any car dealership. I was Debating with myself whether or I should buy a car from a dealership. I had really bad experience with card dealership. I was impressed with Thomas Nissan; particularly the car salesperson that dealt with me (I don’t have his name right now). He was not like most car salespeople. He was honest and when he did not know the answer, he told me he did not know and he will check with his superior. Most car salespeople would want you to believe they have answers for everything. Sales manger was great too. And the finance manager was also professional person. The only thing if I have to suggest that needs improvement is that the whole process took too long. Even though it took too long, the entire sales were very accommodative on my concerns; like allowing picking up my son during the waiting time. I thought that was very smart and a key factor for me to buy the car. They allowed me to take the new car to my house to pick up my son since he would have been by himself when my wife was going to work. This decision I believe came from the sales manager. I am currently reviewing the sales with others who would know about car sales and process. However, I was very impressed with entire dealership and would like to thank them for their outstanding service. I will be coming to your service a lot since I have two Nissans now. More
