I worked with Al Shalabi last year in September, I was happy with him but we didn't make a deal after a few visits,it wasn't his fault, but he did pressure me a little too much at times! I didn't like driving the big truck and wanted a smaller Nissan Sentra, I stopped first at Thomas Nissan Friday June 14th, I met William Sammauro who I was overly impressed with as he helped me above and beyond with advice and no pressure. I told him I was check other places first, but I wanted to make a deal within a week! I went to Gerald Nissan and drove a Sentra and liked it very much.I had a bad negation experience there and left abrubtly and called William on his cell phone and said I was coming to Thomas Nissan. We worked out a deal as I was told Friday what my Nissan Frontier was worth. William was above and beyond the BEST Salesman I have ever dealth with! He explained the Sentra to me completely and even set up Bluetooth for me, which I didn't know anything about! I an so happy that I came back to Thomas Nissan and met William Sammauro! I cannot Say enough good things about how professional William Sammauro acted, I am glad I made a mistake on Friday, and met William as my Salesman! Thomas Nissan is lucky to have him! I was very pleased with Steve Gramera also, as he was very nice and helped me cancel my extended warrantee on the Nissan Frontier, what a relief that was also! Thank you bot much!!! I recently purchased a Frontier pickup from this Dealership, from the moment I first stepped in the door I was greeted by a smiling salesman Wayne Baker. He asked if there was anything he could help me with, and I explained that I was looking for a four door pickup truck. He took me around showing me what they had in stock. I test drove one and when we got back we went in to see if they could find me a two wheel drive instead of the 4x4 I just test drove. They were able to locate two different trucks, and gave me the pricing on them. I took this information to think it over. Several days had gone by and because I was busy at work I never got back to Wayne like I said I would. He called me to do a follow up (which I was happy he did since I put it on a back burner). I was able to stop back in a day or two later and decided to go with a truck that was located in the St. Louis, MO area. Later that day he called to tell me they just got one in with everything I wanted in it. I told him over the phone that I would take it, that was on a Friday and the following Monday I was able to pick it up. Everyone at this dealership bent over backwards to find me just the truck I was looking for. From my salesman Wayne Baker to the Finance guy(unfortunately I don't recall his name and I don't have my paperwork handy) but he took the time to explain everything in detail to me. The general manager came up to me and introduced himself and ask if I was being helped. As a recent college graduate (female) I have been finding the car process pretty intimidating and although I have a good credit score I was having a hard time finding a dealer that would approve a loan with the car process pretty intimidating and although I have a good credit score I was having a hard time finding a dealer that would approve a loan with no co-signer and at a low interest rate. Keep in mind I am very picky and had a specific set of criteria in mind: low mileage, only a couple years used, nice looking on the inside and out and most importantly reliable, safe and good on gas mileage all for a decent price. As soon as I walked in they were able to point me in the right direction with no pressure to buy and took the time to make the car work for me. They were very patient and I can honestly say that they were there to make me a satisfied customer and not to make sure that they locked in a deal on their end. Matt and Steve were great! Very friendly and offered me advice as if I was part of their family and not just looking to make a deal with a client. They also took the time to go through the contract and explain exactly what each step meant in detail. And the best part is that they took me seriously! We contacted the dealership via a form on Cars.com after seeing an ad for an FJ Cruiser. It was 10pm on Thursday night and I got a response back by 10:30pm from William Sammauro! The next day I emailed back seeing an ad for an FJ Cruiser. It was 10pm on Thursday night and I got a response back by 10:30pm from William Sammauro! The next day I emailed back and forth with William a few times to get more information. My wife called him asking about the condition of the vehicle and he actually walked out to the lot and walked around it describing it and the flaws he was able to find. We drive up (90 miles from our home) that night and met with William. He was very friendly and professional. We were able to work out a deal for my trade in and get financing that was better than the pre-approval I got from my own bank of 25 years. Within 2 hours we had test driven the Toyota, traded in my car, got great financing, and drove my FJ Cruiser off the lot and back to Bloomington. I liked the no haggling philosophy of the dealership, and know from researching other FJ Cruisers within 100 miles of my home that we got a very good deal. What really made us decide to make the trip was the "Warranty Forever" Thomas Nissan offered on the car. It is a lifetime engine and powertrain warranty for as long as I own the car. If anything goes wrong I simply have to take it to a certified ASE mechanic and have it repaired, free of charge. All in all a great experience, and I would recommend Thomas Nissan and William Sammauro to anyone looking shopping for a car, even if you have to drive a ways. Ben More
