I have previously purchased a car from Thomas Nissan (in 2008)and it was awful experience. My husband and I got up to walk out on the sale. After a week of having my new car I decided that I would finally write my review on Thomas Nissan. I set out on a car buying adventure with my father on the afternoon of August 29th, 2012. I was in need of a new car (used) as mine was no longer doing its job. Thomas is known for being very well lit, and I thought maybe we should go there first as its the closest to our house. We strolled in around 1pm and met Andy Duda ( our sales specialist) He explained the new sales model that Thomas adopted and instantly we both thought that we were awesome at haggling, and now our chance to argue was taken away as well as this thought in the back of our minds that we could get a better deal somewhere else. We went around Joliet to all the other dealers. Not a single person was able to show me anything in my price range that was remotely close to what I wanted. In the back of our heads was a cute orange/red 2010 Sentra that was the first car we really liked at Thomas- the warrenty was the second thing we couldnt stop thinking about. So we decided to go back and take her for a test drive. After driving her and having Andy explain everything to my father and I about the car and engine we were pretty much sold... Now my mother had to approve and I would finally have a new car!! We went back around 6 pm- my parents and I, and all decided that 1) we liked the car and 2) I was buying the car. We had all said that I was buying it and we were almost done with the purchase before we even realized that we were buying it. Very convenient, understanding, and sociable sales team- easy process, and best pricing. Ive already told multiple people to get their next car here because of the hassle free process- I would recommend Andy Duda and Thomas Nissan to anyone looking for a car-Andy was great to work with (despite the fact that I was tired and grumpy and my father had a car buyers ego that day) the only thing he couldn't do was convince my parents to let me have a snake. Thomas Nissan and their staff were very easy to work with and made it so easy. My experience with the Thomas Nissan staff was excellent. I dealt with Kevin Bombeck as my sales rep, Ben Rosenberg the sales manager and Mike Gors the general manager. Ben took me through the trade in process and explained in detail how he arrived at the trade in value. Mike introduced himself and asked how the car purchasing process was going. Since purchasing my vehicle, i have had both follow up calls and emails to make sure i am completely satisfied with my purchase and the dealership. A great sign of a company that wants to service their customers and succeed in the market does just that....follow up after the sales transaction.
