Brookside Motors has changed its name to Thornton Automotive Dover. NOTHING ELSE HAS CHANGED. First and foremost, thank you very much for your business. We are very sorry that your experience was not considered a 5 star experience because that is what we strive for with every customer. To elaborate on your trade review, please understand that there are many reasons why a trade isn't worth a certain amount. Those reasons include: Information received on the vehicle history report, the condition of the vehicle's body, the inspection date, interior condition, engine noise, transmission shifting issues, the tire condition, and many more. We complete a trade appraisal sheet with every trade appraisal and we review this information with the customer when we present the trade value. We are very particular with the vehicles that we sell to our customers, along with vehicles we take in on trade. This prevents selling traded vehicles to the next customer with issues that could have been avoided. We would, however, be more than happy to go over this information with you again at your convenience. With extended warranties or service contracts, we like our customers to know all of their options to protect their investment. We present coverage's from Powertrain coverage to Comprehensive coverage to our customers and let them decide which one, if any, they would like to protect themselves with. It is our customers' decision on whether or not they would like to purchase the service contract. We highly recommend it, but in the end it is our customers decision to make, depending on their financial situation. We also present a Service Contract brochure to explain all coverage's, which help our customers make the right decision for them. It is our goal, as a company, to give our customers as much information as possible to allow them to make a well-informed decision. And, developing a relationship with our customers for years to come has always been our #1 goal.
