I was searching for an 2006 or newer chevy 2500 hd diesel with an 8 foot bed with under 100,000 miles, which is not an easy truck to find and Brookside Motors had an 07 with 83,000 miles. I had spoken to Tim Goelz about the truck and told him I wanted to see it. It was an hour and a half drive from my home and was dark by the time I got there and when I parked Tim immediatly parked right next to me in the 07 chevy wasting no time which I liked because it was too far to drive to waste time looking around for Tim or the truck. The truck test drove nicely and I told Tim I wanted to inspect the truck further and he had me pull into the service garage. He even found me a floor creeper so I didn't have to roll around on the concrete. I'm not a mechanic but the truck looked rock solid compared to some of the other trucks I had seen at other dealerships. Inside the dealership Tim and I discussed price and trade in. Tim and the finance manager "Chuck I beieve his name is" came to me with straight forward prices that were very reasonable. I expressed that I wasn't sure if I wanted to trade in my truck because a friend of mine was interested in buying it. They said no problem, bring my friend in and I could trade in the truck and receive the tax credit and they could turn around and sell it for the same price to my friend. Now I don't think that is a common business practice, these guys were really trying to help me. I told them I needed to think about the whole deal I still wanted to shop around. Tim knew I was really interested in the truck and offered to put a sold sign on it for a refundable deposit which I did. I have never had a dealer do that for me. Unfortunantly for Tim I found another truck that had a few more options that I decided after seeing it I had to have. Upon contacting Tim about my decision he was gracious and refunded my deposit. Besides the quality vehicle, the excellent pricing and polite service Tim and his associates were honest and worked in a family friendly environment. In most cases I walk away from a dealership with a feeling that they know something I don't know. But not at Brookside. I will recommend Tim Goelz and Brookside Motors and the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle they are my first choice. Sincerely, Max Timberlake More

Brookside was the first dealership I visited recently when I decided to at least consider trading my last car for something else. I had purchased from them years ago and had a very good experience. Apparently, time has done nothing to change the level of service. I was greeted, immediately, by two people who allowed me to explain my situation at which point Tim was tasked with helping me find something that worked. Tim was very helpful and was willing to show me everything that might work for me. When i found a few things that interested me, i dealt with Wes who, i believe, handles the financing. Wes was also very helpful and explained to me in great detail my options. Once I had enough information I was actually encouraged to take some time to think everything over, and come back if I thought there was something that might work for me.(Not the norm at other dealerships, in my experience) I did some research on my own, thought about everything that was said to me and I bought a 2012 chevy cruze LT that I really like, and am completely satisfied with. Tim and Wes saved me some money and I have a car i continue to be pleasantly surprised by. Outstanding service, good selection, great prices. Can't see why one would go anywhere else. If you're in the market for a used car, visit Brookside. I don't think you'll be disappointed. More
