Bad customer service Bought a car it failed inspection. We had to bring it back and they got it to pass. The next day the engine light came back on. They made us drive it Bought a car it failed inspection. We had to bring it back and they got it to pass. The next day the engine light came back on. They made us drive it up to Springfield to get it fixed and made us pay $100 to get it fixed. I complained that we only had it a couple of days and still made us pay to have it fixed. Terrible customer service!!! More

A long and grueling process!! In the beginning we first dealt with Molly and then with Mike. Bought the vehicle in February for a fair price and proceeded to have the chip in the In the beginning we first dealt with Molly and then with Mike. Bought the vehicle in February for a fair price and proceeded to have the chip in the windshield fixed for an extra 35.00 and the ding taken out which was 75.00. We were told it had just arrived that it would be 10-12 days before they could get the title for it.. That was okay with me so we purchased it and waited. On day 14, I called and they said no they didn't get the title yet. I get things can be delayed but you would think they would be considerate and call and say they were still waiting. It was almost like once we bought it they washed their hands of us. On day 16 which was a Thursday, I called again and they said they just received the title. Great, register it and we will pick it up Saturday. They said they couldn't since the women who does the registration is on vacation. So,they said Tuesday. On Tuesday they called and said that on the way to register the vehicle ( we live in Ct. and they had to go there) it shut down and is now at the Toyota dealership. For a 25,000 vehicle we were not happy. Come to find when Safelite repaired the chip, they broke the glass and installed a new windshield but wasn't sealed right so it leaked and shut down the sensor. Here's my problem through this whole process Thrifty never called us to let us know what was going on. We had to contact the dealership which I felt was not my job. Customer service is really bad here. Finally, picked up the vehicle and the gas light is on! Really? we live out of state. Besides they over charged us for registration fees. I am still waiting on a check. Do yourself a favor and Take your business some where else! More
