He called me back and told me he talked to them and was "99.9% sure" they would meet that out the door price. I told him I would be furious if the price i got was $500-$1000 or higher over our budget. He said come down and we would be fine. We drove 30 minutes. Great greeting and professionalism. Great car. She loved it. Excellent service program. Nice place. I told the sales manager Bryan about my conversation with internet marketing. He came back with a price that was $1100 (13.5%) over our budget. I was FURIOUS! He told me that was all he could do. I explained that I understood that number. I was mad about being lied too. I would rather they told me they could not meet our budget on that car. I believe the buisness model is for internet marketing to tell the customer whatever (including lie) they have to say to have you come in. Unethical marketing. I understand up-selling. We walked. I was out in the rain walking through the used cars and salesman George Mahone came driving by in a Nissan Frontier and stopped me to see if I had been helped. He came rushing to my aid and walked me through the best deal for what I could afford. I ended up getting a brand new car for cheaper than I could have gotten a used car for because George knew his stuff. George made the picking of my car a cinch. The Sales manager also stopped by two different times. Once as we were working the details to thank us for coming in and the second time to thank us or bringing in our business. My 23 year old son was shopping for a new vehicle, his first experience purchasing. He lives in a small town in Idaho, and found the perfect car online which was used. After speaking with Lew over the phone his plans changed to a new Xterra. Lew made him aware of the Nissan college graduate purchase program. This program allowed him to qualify for excellent rates and pricing with little to no credit. When it was all said and done he got a new 2013 for similar pricing to the used vehicle he was originally looking at. They worked closely on coming to terms on the trade in that worked for all. I spoke to Lew and Elwood a number of times and they both assured me that my son would have a good experience, and not the experience most of us dread when walking onto a dealership lot. When my son arrived he was greeted as if he was a long time customer. The process was just as described by Lew and Elwood. My son was very pleased with the entire experience from pulling onto the lot in his old truck to driving of in a new 2013 Nissan Xterra, no surprises! Last Saturday night we dropped in to look for a car that would help us with a negative upside down situation we were in with our other car. As well as having high payments in our old car, we also had high would help us with a negative upside down situation we were in with our other car. As well as having high payments in our old car, we also had high gas mileage and high repair costs over the last year. Chad was able to see our need and showed us a Nissan Juke, which had the safety features of a small SUV, without the high gas mileage. We loved driving it, and the dealership was able to work out a plan for us to trade in our older car and buy the Juke, without difficulty. We will be happy to drive the Juke, even with similar payments as before, but save a lot of monthly money on gas and unexpected repairs, because this is a reliable new car with an extended warranty. Even though Chad usually sells used cars, he could see our need and by asking the right questions directed us to the best car for our needs. He also told us how much his wife loves the same kind of car and was able to share that personal insight. Even though it was a busy late night the staff kept checking on us and were able to offer us a fair deal without hassle and multiple negotiations. Thank You. More
