After waiting two hours, I asked about the progress of my work. Service rep, Gibbs, Jr. replied with an exasperated sigh and, "I don't know.. they're working on it." I brought in my Saturn Ion coupe for a repair and mentioned I was getting it fixed so I could sell it. I planned to buy a Hyundai Sonata but when Neil showed me a comparison, the price was about the mentioned I was getting it fixed so I could sell it. I planned to buy a Hyundai Sonata but when Neil showed me a comparison, the price was about the same but the quality of the Malibu seemed better (they had a used Sonata in stock). I knew Neil and two others from the Saturn dealership. It was wonderful to have the same friendliness as I experienced at Saturn. I received a good trade-in price. I had no interest in a Chevy what-so-ever but Neil worked with me and I know I made the right decision. Also the dealer is only 8 miles away vs. 30 for the Hyundai - a huge plus. Tom Gibbs has a good reputation too. Good perks too: free cars washes and 2 years of free oil changes. More
I drove over 100 miles 1-way to try Tom Gibbs service, to fix a problem with tires/TMPS and to get an oil change. Took my wife along. While there every service manager said hello and asked how they could help. I had an appt with them and they did not make me wait;they started working on my truck immediately. I met the Service manager, Tom, and he was very helpful with pricing and obtaining new TMPS. He was like a friend helping me. Anyway, the price was very good on services (much less than my local dealer)the waiting area was comfortable with plenty of magazines, a nice TV, and I think the internet. I have spoken several times with Tom Gibbs and found he and his staff to be friendly, kind and honest. They are not pushy sales people and the experience was pleasant. This is the best Chevrolet Dealer I have used and I have been using Chevrolet and GM dealers for over 20 years in FL, VA, & TN.... TOM GIBBS is the best Chevrolet Dealer! More
I have purchased several vehicles from Gibbs, and have also relied on their service department. I have consistently been treated like family, given excellent service. Lied to three times in same day.....waited over one hour and was exposed to three sales people, none finished the initial sales presenation. Total waste of time, after driving over 70 mile one way.
