I went to Tom Scott Honda to buy a used car. I was pre-approved from my bank and had already found the vehicle I wanted online. We called Brandon Johnson to verify they still had the car and set I was pre-approved from my bank and had already found the vehicle I wanted online. We called Brandon Johnson to verify they still had the car and set an appointment for that day. He was getting off work but agreed to stay to help us. We went in, took the car for a test drive, completed the paperwork, and were out of there in less than an hour. No haggling, no back and forth. It was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I really appreciated Brandon's honesty about what they could do as well as the transparency on their prices. I waited three months before writing this review to make sure everything was as they said it would be - and it is! The banking went through without a hitch, the car is fantastic and runs great. I am very happy with my purchase and my experience and will use Brandon again in the future and keep his card in my wallet to refer others to "one of the good guys." More

Great people at this dealership, very friendly and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to help me, they didn't just grab the money and run like another dealership I've recently dealt with. I just left Tom Scott Honda. We have a 2014 Honda Pilot in excellent condition, always kept up to date on all maintenance done by this dealership . . . that is until today. This We have a 2014 Honda Pilot in excellent condition, always kept up to date on all maintenance done by this dealership . . . that is until today. This car has a habit of displaying false dash warnings regarding tire pressure and the gas filler cap being loose. As annoying as these “alerts” are, Tom Scott’s has always cleared them and said “sorry for the hassle.” Today, however, the service writer just sat there and smugly said it might be for a lot of reasons, and asked me if I had made sure the gas cap was on tight. No attention to customer service, no courtesy, no show of interest. He just sat there with his arms folded and stared at me. Okay. Our Pilot is about eight years old with about 80,000 miles on it. It’s our third Honda and we figured on replacing it with a new one at the end of this summer. Guess what dealership we won’t be doing business with again? More
We initially contacted Tom Scott Honda because of the Costco Auto Program, interested in buying a new or used Honda CRV. When contacted by Kezar, we were asked what model we were looking for and heard n Costco Auto Program, interested in buying a new or used Honda CRV. When contacted by Kezar, we were asked what model we were looking for and heard nothing further. We assumed that stock was so limited, they had nothing to offer. We emailed back and said we would wait until inventory improved. Nothing was mentioned about not honoring Costco's program. A month later, after viewing several Honda crvs on their website, we decided to make the 40-minute drive to Tom Scott in Nampa. That's where we made contact with Haines and his trainee. When I mentioned the Costco program, he told me they were not working with that program due to inventory shortages. We were also informed that most of CRVs listed on website were "expected in" but not on the lot. We were pretty put off at that point but decided since we made the trip, we may as well look at what was available. We found a 2020 Subaru Forester that fit most of our needs. We were told it was priced right at at $37k. We went into look at financing, etc. We began to feel we were being duped about the price, and I felt I needed to do more research on the Subaru Forester. There was no mention of coming down in price at all. Halfway home, we received a call that they would come down in price $1k. Seriously? Not worth turning around for. We ended up stopping by a much more local dealer, ordering a brand new Forester with options we wanted for a few hundred dollars more. The only silver lining at Tom Scott was finding a vehicle that we preferred to the Honda. This is not our first rodeo when it comes to buying cars. We do not appreciate deceitful, misleading practices from a dealership. Walk away unless there is a salesman there you already have history with and feel you can trust. More

I would NOT recommend this dealership. I found the car I knew I wanted and negotiated a price in writing before driving from Washington State to complete paperwork. They where nice enough to hold it for me knew I wanted and negotiated a price in writing before driving from Washington State to complete paperwork. They where nice enough to hold it for me for a few days until I could get a day off work to drive 4 hours. Upon arrival I was told that the price that I confirmed before, in email, before writing a check was $500 short and I was responsible for that difference. Furthermore, the communication is terrible trying to complete the licensing, no one will pick up their phone-including management or my sales rep. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL More
