I visited the Honda Dealership in Anderson to get my windshield wipers fixed. Tammy was very accommidating and knowledgeable. After waiting a short time for the repairs to be made, I sat in the comforta windshield wipers fixed. Tammy was very accommidating and knowledgeable. After waiting a short time for the repairs to be made, I sat in the comfortable waiting area. It was very nice to have free internet for customers, as I was able to study for my online class while getting my car serviced. Tammy saved me money by finding out that there was a recall on the windshield wiper part, it was free! My car wash was a sweet surprise too! Although I don't know the names of the employees who performed the service and washed my car, I would also like to thank them. More
I called into the Tom Wood Honda service department and ask if an appointment was available to check out my brakes. I told Tammy that I had a noise and was sure it was in the brakes. I was given an appointment and took my car in the next day and left my car. Within a hour, Tammy called me and told me that it was my brakes and rotors and and gave me the cost to replace them. I told her to go ahead and do the brakes and rotors and she gave me a time that the car would be ready to pick up. When I when in to get my car, Tammy explained the invoice and I was happy because the total cost was a little less than was told in the beginning. The service department was very prompt and professional and friendly. I wasnt rushed when picking up my car and was also ask if I had any other questions about the repair. It was nice to find a place that the people are friendly and treat you very fairly. More
Tammy is always friendly and helpful as well as the rest of the maintainence staff. I appreciate their willingness to call me back when they had a cancelation to get me in early. Maintainence is always an expensive proposition but I come back to the dealer for expert care and frankly brand loyalty. I wish there was some sort of program you could be put on for regularly programed maintainence. Possibly a small prepay, but a reduction in price--say 10 percent or so (above and beyond all specials which the staff regularly points out to me.) It is a bit of an inconvenience for me to drive the 30 miles for service, and each time I get closer to scheduling with a local mechanic here in my town of Marion. However, if I were to be put on a maintainance program with a discount for either prepay or mandatory service.. I would appreciate it and you would have a customer for the life of this vehicle and the opportunity to sell me more vehicles in the future. Unfortunately, with the pace of life always picking up, I may be forced to look for alternative forms of maintainence, but I would rather always have Tammy and the gang at Tom Wood Honda be my sole mechanics. What do you think of the idea of extended service plans with big discounts and committments? More
Went in for a scheduled oil change. On the way there a nail was embedded into the tire side wall. Tammy stated tire could not be repaired due to location of puncture, but they could replace the tire with nail was embedded into the tire side wall. Entire service was completed in about 1-hour. Tammy was professional & friendly. I do not know the female parts counter employee's name, but she was also friendly. More
I've been a customer of tom wood honda for 20 years and I have never been dissatisfied with sales people, or service department. This is a small dealership but one staffed with competent, honest, service-oriented personnel. I have been a customer since 2/2000 and have never been dissatisfied with any of the services provide competent, honest, service-oriented personnel. They are all totally open and direct when making suggestions or recommendations for improvements or service. I would put this group up against any dealership I have dealt with over the past 40+ years of dealing with automobile servicing organizatons, bar none. More
I went for an oil change. The service area brought me my filters for review. The staff is always very friendly and the waiting area always has coffee, television and things to read. The entire experience was great. I called and asked about a 2008 Odyssey EX-L in certain colors, and Doug and Patrick helped me get the van that I wanted. I called around to several dealers in Indiana about a 2008 Odyssey EX-L in certain colors, and Doug and Patrick helped me get the van that I wanted. I called around to several dealers in Indiana and also visited my local ones, so I knew what price I was looking for. I named my price for the van and the trade in, and Doug and Patrick said that it would be possible, or very close (of course they have to evaluate the trade in in person). Before telling me the price was very possible, they checked with the owner to be sure that the price was at least very close to what he would agree to. The phone-quote for the new van was honored. We got to within $300 of my ideal price for my trade-in, which made me happy with the deal, since it's impossible to give a firm quote on a trade in over the phone. I negotiated, but I love to negotiate. I felt no high pressure at any time. They traded with another dealer to get the color I wanted, and didn't pressure me to get a color or trim-level that was in stock. The best thing was the overall friendly attitude and helpfulness. The finance guy did not do any high pressure stuff, and was quick but thorough. We were in and out of the finance office within a half hour. I feel like they were very trustworthy in their dealings - a feeling I have not gotten at some other dealerships in the area. They do a really fun thing when you buy your car - they kind of hide it under a car cover and then unveil it for you, so you can see it in all of its shiny glory. I highly recommend Tom Wood Honda. Warranty service for 07 Civic. Went in for recall on waterpump. They also found two other recalls I did not know about and fixed them too. Whole experience took about 1 hour. Good experience.
