The Prius has an opt The new Prius I purchased from Tom Wood has exceeded my expectations. However, I cannot say the same for their customer service. The Prius has an option for the reverse warning to change to a single beep. Per the manual, it says “settings can be changed by your Toyota dealer”. I came in on a Saturday to try to get this done. The service department said they would do it for $59. I found this totally unacceptable and told them that, along with others on the sales floor. I left without having it done. I could understand the charge if this were not a new car, purchased elsewhere or required significant time to do. It takes a couple of minutes to make the change I asked for. I made other arrangements for the change and will look elsewhere for future service. More

Unprofessional and Unethical Where to begin... I've been into Tom Wood Toyota on a couple of occasions and have been more and more disappointed. The first time I was in I was l Where to begin... I've been into Tom Wood Toyota on a couple of occasions and have been more and more disappointed. The first time I was in I was looking at the Rav4 and worked with Jesse. He was helpful and very gracious even though I came in shortly before they closed for the evening. As I have done at any car dealership, I filled out a sheet with name, address, email, phone number, etc. I was not contacted by Jesse after my initial visit regarding the Rav4 or my car search... A month or so later I revisited Tom Wood Toyota and this time I test drove the Corolla. I worked with Brent and he was extremely helpful. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I filled out the same information sheet and left. Later that night Brent texted my cell phone. Now I had told him that it was fine to text me as I have unlimited texting...I figured he was referring to contacting me in regards to the car as he had inquired about texing while in a professional setting. Apparently he took that as an invitation to ask me out. I was extremely off-put by this type of communication from someone from a car dealership as I had not implied anything along the lines of looking for ANYTHING more than a vehicle. Months after I originally worked with Jesse (the first salesman) I got an email from a relative of his to my personal email. Jesse had given away my information to this person in hopes that I could get him a job (I work for a company that is hired by large corporations to fill their open positions). At NO POINT during either of my visits to Tom Wood Toyota did I solicit my professional information or services. I gave my personal information and was looking for a vehicle for my personal use...totally unrelated to my career. Not only was this unprofessional and not ethical but it violates privacy laws. Due to this being the second time that I was made pretty uncomfortable by the employees at Tom Wood I decided to take the matter to someone in charge. I was put in contact with one of the general managers at the Toyota location, Eric Peterson. I explained the situation to Eric over the phone and told him that I was pretty upset about the whole situation since I had never given permission for my personal information to be given away. Instead of being apologetic for the behavior of the employees, Eric indicated to me that he did not see a problem since my job is to fill open job positions ("well...if that's your job..."). I'm not sure what sort of training the sales professionals at Tom Wood Toyota are given or what sort of laws they are familiar with but there are some serious ethical issues within that organization. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should my personal information be shared with ANYONE outside of their establishment and the management is just a disappointment. Not being able to see and not caring about the legality issue with this situation is beyond unprofessional. I will never go back into a Tom Wood establishment, nor will I be recommending their services to anyone looking to buy a new car. More

The first experience when I stepped in was amazingly friendly. Met a sales consultant Mr. Eugene Cohill III, was a amazing person. He was so friendly, never made me feel that I am there for the first time. He was so knowledgeable about various Toyota make models as well as the model I like to buy. He understood my likes ans requirements so well and suggest me to go with AWD, where I was decided to go with FWD in the beginning. Rite now I am so glad that I listen to him and have AWD. Its a totally different experience. I really appreciate his kindness and friendliness and I strongly recommend my family and friends this person and this dealer for their future car purchase. Really a great experience over there. More
