Anyone reading this, please stay far, far and I mean far away from this place. Just abosolutely horrible. I dropped off a 2023 ford f250 gas v8 with 20k miles because of three issues. Issue number one, the truck is a work truck completely stock, nothing has been added, but the issue is that it dies 3 up to 5 times a day. its been to tomball ford two other times and the issue has not been resolved. Issue number two one of the tail lights was not working. Issue number three I asked for an alignment because I just got new tires, same size tires as factory. So I dropped the truck off on thurs, on fri the service advisor Bobby, send me a text saying they are doing the alignment and they need to adjust the camber, caster, toe and that will be $145. So I replied to go ahead and do it. So I am assuming the aligment its $145 plus tax. (keep in mind I was never told how much an alignment was when I dropped off the truck) I thought $145 thats normal price for any aligment at any shop. Forward to the following mon, I get a msg saying the truck is ready but they could not replicate issue one, where the truck dies, after going back and forth with Bobby about the issue , I finally said to just give me the total due so I can go pick up the truck. Her answer was $400.97. I was shocked, I asked for an explanation she said that was the total for alignment and adjusting caster and camber. I replied back saying at any mechanic shop when they do an aligment adjusting camber, caster and toe, its part of the aligment process. I asked to talk to the general manager, I was denied, she replied that the service manager was going to call me, this happend at 7:30 am on tues, I never received a call from the general manager or the service manager, finally at around 2:30pm I called tomball ford and asked to speak to the general manager, I was denied, I asked to talk to the service manager, I was also denied. After 30mins of the call, the service manager name Darryl Depasquale called me. I explained to darryl the whole situation,that the main issue with the truck was not resolved, and the issue with the aligment. Darry got very agitated and even raising his voice at times, I had to tell darryl to calm down. I explain to darryl that I was going to scalate my complain to upper management and his replied was "you can complain to whoever you want after all this is a free country, this is america". my replied was, "I will take your word and will scalate my complaint to upper management and the whole google comunity will know". I thought wow thats how a manager treats customers?? amazing. I did went to pick up the truck, I asked for the general manager when I walked in, they said he was not in, maybe true , maybe not. I paid $400 for a simple aligment, the main issue of the truck dying was not resolved, infact the truck died after 2 mins when I first started (a lot porter drove me to the back lot so I could pick it up because they did not even bring the truck to the front, wow what a service!). My advice, stay away from this place, take your car to your trusted mechanic. Darryl is very unprofessional, rude, condensending person, it amazed me how a person like that could be a manager, but again it might stem from upper management. I will never do bussiness at tomball ford, and will tell my friends and family to stay far away from that place. More

This place has poor management and speak to you like you're a nobody and they ask why when you call are upset. After almost a month I finally got a call saying next week I can come in. Pissed isn't even close to what I am. Family vehicle / work Vehicle out of AC during the hottest part of summer and 5 weeks is best they can do for another vehicle for 3-4 days of service. More

TL;DR: Beware of the "required" Apex Protect that they force you to add for $995 on top of your agreed price but fail to mention until you're signing the paperwork. I purchased a used GMC Yukon from Tomball Ford in June. When I decided I was interested, I called the salesman, and after some negotiation over the phone, we agreed on a price. When I was signing the paperwork, I noticed they added a $995 charge for something called Apex Protect. There had been no mention of this up to this point and I had never heard of it previously. He described it as "LoJack". He said the first year of service was included so that I can track the location of my vehicle at any time from my phone, and it included Theft Recovery assistance. He also told me that after the first year, Theft Recovery would still work even if I didn't want to pay for the Apex service. (Note: I later called Apex directly, and they confirmed that is not correct and that if I don't pay after the first year, there is no service available at all, including Theft Recovery.) I told him I did not want this and that I had no need for it. I told him that the GMC has OnStar built in that offers real time vehicle location, along with many other features for far less than this. He insisted that it was "required". Required by who? The dealership, Tomball Ford. If it is required, why was it not included in the price that we discussed and agreed upon? The salesman claimed "every dealership adds fees like this". That is patently false. I had "drive out" quotes from four other dealerships (including another Ford dealership in Houston that same day). None had a "required" add-on fee that was not mentioned until after we had agreed on a price. After a lot of circular conversation and zero explanation of the benefits I was getting from Tomball Ford's required service, I was tired of wasting my time and agreed to pay $500, just to finish the deal. Honestly, I regret that I did. The fact that Tomball Ford utilizes shady sales tactics like this and blatantly lies to their customers is deplorable, and I wish I had walked away and continued my search elsewhere. Fast forward weeks after the purchase: I still had not received any info on how to activate Apex. As far as I know, the dealership still had access to track the location of my vehicle unlawfully. Even worse, I had to contact them multiple times before I was finally able to get the info to transfer the Apex service to my name so the dealership could no longer see my location. In the unlucky circumstance that you must buy from this place, be sure to tell them up front that you will not pay for Apex Protect or that it must be included in your total agreed price so that you are comparing apples to apples pricing of more honest dealerships. They add on windshield protection and state they can’t remove it. Unless you think you are going to brake your windshield over 6 times it’s a waste. They also add non refundable paint sealant. I contacted the number provided and they said they emailed Tomball over 6 weeks back to resubmit the needed documentation for my plates and have not got a response. I contacted Tomball again and asked to speak with a manager and the clerk contacted a manager and the clerk told me they were working on it, So i didn't even get to speak to a manager as i requested. Its been 4 days and they still have not contacted me. I have plates that's been expired for weeks and they do not care. 3rd- Once you purchase the vehicle from here -YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN - They will contact you raptly to make a sale but will not contact you after the fact. Three years back took my 2020 Expedition in for a recall on the catalytic converter. Took them three visits to finally replace it. Keep telling us it was reset. Just took my 2023 Expedition in for faulty cruise control and heated seats / steering wheel wont work. I have extended warranty through Ford. They wont fix it. Telling me our name isn't on the policy. I have the hard paperwork showing we purchased the warranty.
