We were on the way to Charlotte to look at several we were interested in and stopped in Orangeburg for a snack. My husband decided to drive down the main road once we exited the interstate to see if there were any car dealers nearby. We had already shopped in Charleston the previous weeks after putting it off as long as we could because we knew we would be "hawked" by the multitude of salesmen on the lots here or get caught in one of their many blocked rows designed to trap you. That really turns off shy, perspective buyers who are just starting the long and obnoxious journey in car buying here. We were able to save over $2000 dollars by driving as far as Orangeburg and I will certainly spread the word since I teach at a school with over 3400 students and 350 staff/teachers. Our salesman, Joseph Rafail, showed my husband and me a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van when we were in the dealership during the summer. Joseph was very patient and helpful, (never "pushy"), as we went through our list, and with that the managers were able to find such a vehicle at another dealership. Within a very few days Joseph called to say he had the van for us. He spent time that day pairing my phone with Uconnect for "hands-free calling". This would have taken hours for me to do myself.. On another visit, Joseph went over again the many features to help us understand this "wizard of electronics" machine, and urged us to call with any more questions. We're loving the car and appreciate so much Joseph sharing his knowledge and tiime with us. More
