I'm a 71 year old retired RN with 5 kids and I've lost count of how many cars I've bought and sold in my lifetime but it's at least 30. In my opinion, Torch Light Motors and Jeff & Kathy LaPoff deserve a count of how many cars I've bought and sold in my lifetime but it's at least 30. In my opinion, Torch Light Motors and Jeff & Kathy LaPoff deserve a 5 Star Rating. If you're in the market for a used European car or SUV, you should consider buying it from Torch Light. Jeff LaPoff has been in business for 25 years, he specializes in used European car brands- mostly Volvo, BMW, and Audi. Jeff is very selective about the vehicles he offers for sale at his dealership. Don't forget, he's actually a used car buyer too, but he's a professional at it. He knows these European cars at an expert level. He details and services every car, often doing things like putting new brakes and tires on a car. Think about that for a few seconds. If you need to put new new brakes and tires on a Volvo, BMW, or Audi, it would cost you at least $2000, but he may have already done it for you. That's huge in my book. Now comes the best part, Torch Light Motors is a ZERO sales pressure dealership. The prices Jeff puts on each car is non-negotiable, but from my research, his prices are by far the best prices you will find for the same make & model year & mileage. If you see one advertised for less at another dealership, I can almost guarantee you that it's simply not in as good a condition or has a jaded or poorly maintained history, and simply is not as high a quality car as the one Jeff has on his lot. There aren't any games or xx here. What you see is what you get. You still want to do your research, i.e. CarFax etc., on any vehicle you're interested in, it's still a Buyer Beware world, but if you're confident about the car's history and pedigree, in my experienced car buying opinion, you can also be confident that if you buy it from Jeff & Kathy at Torch Light, you are getting it for a very fair price. Easiest and best car buying experience I've ever had in my 71 years. More

My experience at Torch Light Motors was nothing short of stellar. I went in overwhelmed, not knowing what I wanted and Jeff made the process a lot easier. Please, take the car to a service center to check it before you buy it. don't believe all the good reviews (might be fabricated). In my opinion, torch, light motors has some of the cleanest vehicles on the web. I previously bought a 2008 XC 90 V8 from Jeff. I recently sold it to a friend of mine who enjoys how clean the vehicle cleanest vehicles on the web. I previously bought a 2008 XC 90 V8 from Jeff. I recently sold it to a friend of mine who enjoys how clean the vehicle is to this day. it is for that reason that since I was in the market for another Volvo, Jeff was at the top of the list. A month ago I gave Jeff a call and expressed I was looking for a S 60 T6 R designed with a polestar upgrade. He explained that it is a very rare vehicle, and very, very, very, very Difficult vehicle to get hold of. He then said coincidentally, he just purchased one less than two hours ago at the auction, and it should be at the dealership the following day. I checked in with Jeff the following day and was told the delivery had not come in as yet. That was a Saturday. I continue to check in with Jeff for the next two weeks constantly asking of the update, and the status of the vehicle. When it did finally arrive, I was told it needed to be prepped and that it was a long way from being ready as he was working on 15 other cars. I expressed to Jeff that I was willing to put a deposit on the vehicle to avoid it being sold from under me. Jeff thanked me, but explain that he does not take deposits on vehicles. Reason being he doesn’t want when I finally do see the vehicle that it’s not what I expected. I finally stopped calling Jeff for a few days giving him enough time to work on the vehicle so I can then make time to go to torchlight motors to see the vehicle firsthand. When I called Jeff, maybe 2 1/2 weeks later after first, speaking with him to check on the status of the vehicle, I was then told the vehicle should be ready in the next two days. However, there is a strong possibility that the vehicle will be sold the next day . I thanked Jeff and ended the call. I’ve never left a review on a dealership before but this one was a slap in the face so I felt the need to do so at this present time. I’m confused because Jeff said he does not take deposits on vehicles, and he would not be able to give me a price on the vehicle as it is not fully prepped. Yet, in the meantime he had brokered a potential sale of the vehicle. Make it make sense. This is not a knock on torch, light motors on a hole because Jeff is an excellent salesman, and he has quality vehicles on his lot at all times. This time, however , Jeff dropped the ball. More
