Bad service and customer service. I had an appointment and still waited 4 hours for just an oil change. Quick professional service. I thought they would have washed the car or at least cleaned under the hood, there is coolant everywhere! Bought our 2022 Santa Fe at South Point Hyundai (south side of Austin is much closer to us), but have had terrible experience with their Service Department every visit going back to 2019. Based on Gro side of Austin is much closer to us), but have had terrible experience with their Service Department every visit going back to 2019. Based on Group 1 Service Department's reviews we brought it in for work that wasn't fixed correctly at South Point 6 months prior. Extremely glad we did! They diagnosed both issues, plus identified a 3rd problem. Thankfully we had the 100k Extented Warranty & everything was covered. If it had gone another 5k miles, we would have been paying out of pocket for a transmission, A/C condenser unit, & a coolant reservoir. Also, a HUGE shout-out to Matt Lackey, our Service Advisor. Kept us in the loop with excellent communication for the week it was in the shop waiting for warranty approval & parts to arrive. More
