Excellent experience! Stopped in for service on our leased 2010 Corolla and ended up leaving with a 2012 Corolla. Ken Mack did an outstanding job! When walking through the showroom, Ken asked us why we leased 2010 Corolla and ended up leaving with a 2012 Corolla. Ken Mack did an outstanding job! We let him know we had a lease in for service, and we were looking to see what our options were when the lease was up in the next few months. Ken was able to get us in a new 2012 Corolla for the same payment we had with the 2010. Ken was very polite, friendly, and professional. I believe he even came in on his day off to to help complete the sale and get us in our new car ASAP! Great work ethic! Earle let me take the car for an extended test drive. I was not satisfied with the price, so I got a competing bid from Metro Toyota. Motorcars Toyota matched the bid and I purchased the car from them. Eve was not satisfied with the price, so I got a competing bid from Metro Toyota. Motorcars Toyota matched the bid and I purchased the car from them. Everything went very smoothly and they took my 1994 trade in. My great experience with Motorcars is a total contrast to the nightmare I had with Metro Toyota. Although both dealers are in Cleveland, they are as different as night and day. More
Service was good up until the pick up of the car. I called motor Cars Toyota after closing a deal at Metro Toyota for the same car and after leaving a $ 500 deposit on that car; however, I was not completely satisfied with the way the salesman handled the Toyota for the same car and after leaving a $ 500 deposit on that car; however, I was not completely satisfied with the way the salesman handled the sale . My questions about the Customer Loyalty Award were not answered. There was some doubt in my mind about the oil change frequency ( I believe it was to be 12,000 miles with this new oil ). After thinking about this I was not comfortable. I also wanted to give my 2005 leased Toyota back to Toyota instead of trading it in to the Metro Dealer. Basically the salesman was not as cordial as the previous salesman I had at Metro or the finance man previously there. There were a number of other less important issues. In order to regain some confidence in the transaction, I decided to call another dealer ( Motor Cars ) and also Toyota Corporate Customer Relations. After talking with Matt Koler on the phone, the Customer Loyalty Award was clarified and I visited Motor Cars in person and met Bill Barton who was very cordial, informative and helpful. I call Barton and Koler " The Winning Team " after putting me into a positive frame of mind again. I later verified my dissatisfaction with Corporate Toyota Customer Relations re: my experience with Metro. To make a long story short, I immediately bought another Rav4 from Motor Cars and told Metro not to go ahead with the deal and to refund my deposit which they did after a couple phone calls from their cordial owners. Michael Motley was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all NOT PUSHY. I really appreciated Motocars' no haggle pricing, the "red phone" and that they seemingly do not play the typical car salesman psychol all NOT PUSHY.
