As for Toyota itself, I very much like their 10-Point Value Guarantee, it makes buying a vehicle so much easier, without the price haggling in the past. It was an overall pleasant experience, much better than what I experienced in the past when the dealership was in different hands. Our salesperson, Wayland, was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, easygoing, and knowledgeable. Really, we cannot say enough about our experience with him and his fellow employees. Wayland made our very long day with two small children in tow a decidedly pleasant and rewarding shopping experience. We had been shopping around for a specific used vehicle for several months and came to Toyota Marin, which is several hours from home for us, after spotting the vehicle we had been looking for on their website, listed at a price we could actually afford! We had been in contact with Wayland from the initial phone call and he went above and beyond for us. He had the vehicle put on hold for us so that it was guaranteed to be there when we arrived! He spent the entire day with us and got us the perfect deal to suit our needs. The rest of the staff was exceptional as well, showing kindness and patience to our 2 and 5 year old sons, who, as you can imagine, were not particularly stoked on spending the entire day in a car dealership! They brought them snacks and offered to feed them lunch from their personal meals in their break room. Buying a new vehicle can be very stressful and nerve wracking, but Wayland made it easy and enjoyable and exciting.
