I have only ever gone to Toyota to have my 2018 Camry serviced and have always walked away feeling safe and as if I was given great service up until this last service. Not only did Toyota service departm serviced and have always walked away feeling safe and as if I was given great service up until this last service. Not only did Toyota service department strip the lug nut key for my tires but they neglected to inform me and instead let me drive around with the inability to change a tire if something went wrong. Not only did I get a flat and was left stranded with no way to change my tire but when I have repeatedly called to have this issue addressed I have received unanswered phone calls, no return calls and now this situation has be "escalated" twice with no return call. I have been told by their very own employees that once a situation has been escalated I should receive, at minimum a call back from a manager or director. None of that has happened after Toyota staff escalating twice. I was told Mr. Robert Dumas (Service Director) would be returning my call and I have heard from NO ONE since my initial call one week ago today. Notes have been placed into my account, I have all detailed prior service reports. What could have been an easily addressed situation has now turned into so much more and still have not had a single staff member address or attempt to fix the wrong and problem they have created. I have always gone to this Toyota dealership for servicing and have now been extremely let down and lost all confidence in them being honest or reliable in servicing my vehicle. Tires are not something to mess up on and at the very least someone addressing this situation is what I would have expected. My vehicle is now do for another service and I am extremely reluctant in ever returning, and will be letting others know of the situation and the complete lack of safety, honesty and professionalism. I had a fantastic experience purchasing a vehicle from Toyota of the Desert. From the moment I arrived, Drew was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right car without Toyota of the Desert. When buying a car from a dealership, ask yourself this before you sign on the dotted line: Do I feel good about the experience I just had? Will I be able to look at this car after this purchase and not before you sign on the dotted line: Do I feel good about the experience I just had? Will I be able to look at this car after this purchase and not get a knot in my stomach because I signed a deal where I knew the dealership was pulling a fast one just to make a few extra bucks? $13.00 a month. That is what was so important to Toyota of the Desert in Cathedral City, CA. Not much at all, right? Why not just sign it? I walked out. I said No Add-Ons to the associate. I said No Add-ons to the sales manager. I said No Add-Ons to the guy who picked me up from my house so they could lock me away miles from home in their kingdom, hoping I would feel the pressure of no way home without a car. Why walk out over 13.00 a month? Because everyone I spoke to PROMISED they wouldn't try to trick me into add-ons. But they did it anyway. There are dealers who will treat you with respect and work toward a win/win. The ones that you will feel good about going to for future car purchases. Toyota of the Desert claims to be one, but it's the same old, same old. They'll take advantage and say it was a mistake. All for $13.00 a month. More

They began to run my husband’s credit on more than three separate occasions, and on two without his permission. What they did was straight up lie to us that Toyota Financial Services has approved us, when in reality, it had not been approved to begin with and wrote the contract at the highest tier assuming they could get TFS to reconsider. Not a fan of lies, honesty is the best policy.. More
