This plug in hybrid car is a wonderful design which allows me to drive with very few visits to gas stations which leaves me feeling grateful to Toyota for helping me leave the earth my children will inherit slightly less degraded than what it would have been if I were adding the usual amount of carbon to the air that normal cars do. But one major flaw in this car: The software interface between car and driver is atrocious. A large screen of information about all all the car's systems is mounted mid-dashboard, but figuring out how to get the information to make the systems work for you is very difficult. The user's manual is 700 pages! And many queries of it to figure things out send you to many other pages other than the one in index or table of contents. The software engineers who crafted this system for this otherwise very well-engineered car is a travesty. Perhaps Toyota will make some improvements and allow us to download them when they are available. More
