We originally started our search at Red McCombs Toyota but after multiple setbacks with their team, opted to head out to Boerne. My 2 previous vehicles also came from this location, so it makes sense to c but after multiple setbacks with their team, opted to head out to Boerne. My 2 previous vehicles also came from this location, so it makes sense to come back. Bret Wells has been incredibly helpful and a great salesperson. Any good salesperson will find ways to connect with potential buyers, but conversations seemed genuine. Bret quickly snagged the car I was more interested in as it is a popular choice (and color), and we took it for a quick spin. While I was planning to purchase, my budget better aligned with the leasing option. Bret explained the difference between the two options and let us know that if we stick with Toyota, there would be no mileage restrictions. Also at the end of the 3 year term, I have the option to refinance the remainder of the balance and potentially purchase it outright - or I can trade in for something new. Two thumbs up. We will continue coming here if we are still living in the area as they always treat us as valued customers. More

The 3. 5 year old battery (84 month warranty) on my 2018 Toyota Highlander died. I contacted Vic Vaughn Toyota in Boerne. First I was told they didn’t see wh 5 year old battery (84 month warranty) on my 2018 Toyota Highlander died. I contacted Vic Vaughn Toyota in Boerne. First I was told they didn’t see where I purchased the battery there so they couldn’t honor the warranty because I didn’t have a receipt from 2023. After receiving 2 different prices for the battery and being told I had to bring the car with the battery in AND get diagnostics performed on the car prior to installation I started searching other avenues for the battery.which was also frustrating (COSTCO & other retailers did not carry the battery my car needed). In my frustration, I contacted corporate HQ for Toyota and filed a case. Later that same afternoon I walked in to the dealership and spoke with the Customer Relations representative, Dari who was professional, kind & empathetic. She also found the invoice where I had pitched the battery in 2023 from Parts. A customer’s maintenance/purchase “ record” should be all inclusive. I walked out of the dealership knowing the next morning I would be picking up my new battery. The whole process took 8 days (dealership & other retailers). In addition, I was told I needed to pay 50% of the new battery but when I was charged it was more than 50% of the cost. I tried to challenge the cost (because I had a written quote for the retail cost of the battery) but was given another excuse for the difference. So I guess that means there are 3 different costs for the same battery). There should only be two costs: wholesale and retail. I just wanted the 8 day ordeal to be over. It shouldn’t be this complicated to buy a battery. I want to personally thank Dari for her assistance. She was the only part of the process that I consider customer focused. More
