The Worst. Bowie Toyota service department charged me almost $350 for replacement of common suspension parts they never performed. I discovered this when less Bowie Toyota service department charged me almost $350 for replacement of common suspension parts they never performed. I discovered this when less than 2 years and less than 5,000 miles later I was informed that said parts were identified during their multi-point check to be worn and needed replacement. When reminded about the earlier "repair" and after consultation with a supervisor, my service advisor offered vague explanation (that the tech did not work there any longer) and said they would do the work for 1/2 price. Not really understanding what that meant and with no amount quoted, they proceeded to charge me over $500 for the work replacing the parts (sway bar links). So, the repair (I made them show me the installed new parts once completed this time), cost me one $850 for a job that should have been around $300 - $350 with no explanation, apology, or shame. More
