OK, me gustaría discutir este tema; ya que anteriormente yo llevaba mi camioneta a hacerle servicio en un Dealer más cercano al lugar donde vivo, pero por el mal servicio prestado tuve que elegir otro. Recuerdo que un día cuando me entregaron la camioneta, en el estacionamiento del Dealer hice una revisión rápida y encontré una pieza tirada en el piso de la cabina, la agarré y fui a hablar con el asesor, él llamó al técnico y fuimos hasta mi camioneta para que yo le indicara donde la encontré; luego me dijeron que me fuera para la sala de espera y eso me generó desconfianza, porque era algo que se hacía rápido, pero no querían mi presencia simplemente porque el filtro de aire de la cabina NO LO HABÍAN CAMBIADO y en el reporte decía que sí. Yo siempre acostumbro a chequear mi camioneta antes y después del servicio para estar seguro si cumplen con todo lo que indican en los reportes. Yo soy mecánico calificado de CATERPILLAR y conozco muy bien el funcionamiento de todos los componentes de los vehículos. Efectivamente, al llegar a la casa revisé todo y el filtro de aire de la cabina seguía siendo el mismo. Al día siguiente regresé al Dealer para comprar el nuevo filtro y lo cambié yo mismo. De hecho, el mismo vendedor al ver la muestra del filtro me dijo: “ESE FILTRO NUNCA LO HAN CAMBIADO”. Yo sé que las empresas cuando hacen encuestas esperan una mayor calificación; pero, en mi caso cumplo con indicar lo que no están haciendo bien para que se corrijan esas fallas. Ese es el propósito de las encuestas. Hace cierto tiempo solicité estar presente en el área donde le hacen servicio a los vehículos, pero no recibí respuesta. Lo hice con el fin de poder ver la manera como realizan los servicios y si en verdad reemplazan las piezas que señalan en los reportes. Siento temor cuando le toca servicio a mi camioneta, porque por ejemplo, me gustaría saber si en verdad reemplazan el filtro de aceite del motor, algo que para poder ver necesito remover el protector y yo no tengo como hacerlo, al menos que vaya a un taller donde la suspendan y así poder revisar con seguridad. Siempre he tenido esa inquietud y más ahora que la garantía está bajo mi responsabilidad. Los Dealers deberían generar confianza a los clientes; por ejemplo, que por medio de una ventana podamos ver cuando le están realizando cualquier tipo de servicio a los vehículos.
