Toyota Deal Breakers I would like to discuss my disgust with this establishment. Firstly, I called to confirm that the had the vehicle and that they would price match fr I would like to discuss my disgust with this establishment. Firstly, I called to confirm that the had the vehicle and that they would price match from the dealership to dealership .They told me they would, and could even to better. I called 4 times to confirm . With that being said I drove 2 hours from Dunedin to Clermont just for this deal. I was helped by a salesman name Scott and for all intensive purposes I will leave his last name off. We haggled about the price match, and at the end he said he would honor the other dealerships price. He shook my hand and looked me in the eye. When Scott came back with all the paperwork the price had increased by $268.00. I know it sounds like a measly amount but it is completely about the principle. It just goes to show that Toyota of Clermont Does Not Value their customers. They care more about Money than about Honesty and Integrity. It is evident that Toyota of Clermont not only hires those types of people, but has upper management with the same beliefs. I would be ashamed To rectify the situation the GM called me. His name was Greg. He stood behind his staff and said the cars were not completely the same. he said that one had Toyo Guard and one did not . I had just driven 2 hours in the rain with my dad to get this vehicle??? I drove 4 hours round trip. I am not sure in a customer facing relationship why you wouldn't just say," sir you were right and you shouldn't have been treated that way". That will not happen here, and the reason is they flat out Do Not Care. I would not recommend Toyota of Clermont even if you see an online deal. They will NOT HONOR IT. More
