Intentionally made the purchase of car 10k more. My credit rating is 825+. And he said that keep making purchase unrealistic to pressure a lease. I wanted to put down between 8 to 10k and salesman insisted that I would need gap insurance. I am a resent college grad and salesman did mention incentives for grads or the 1.9% for 36months. Keep saying 8% finance rate. Then keep focusing on lease. Never listened to me. The product specialist know his job. Everyone else was rude and never valued the customer. You are NOT considered a VALUED CUSTOMER. Stay away from this dealership. Called to speak to management and the receptionist did not want me to speak to them asked for email. Waited on hold for 15 minutes and the only response was that they will speak to the team. The team at TOYOTA OF CLAREMONT is the Ponzi scheme team. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY. Sad to say that the consumer is taking advantage to the current situation of purchasing a car. They don’t care at all!!! More

Don't buy, sell or trade your vehicles at this dealership. They will finance at the highest rate, sale you Gap insurance double the price, and they will offer finance rates the highest rates they dealership. They will finance at the highest rate, sale you Gap insurance double the price, and they will offer finance rates the highest rates they can get you. I have bought many new Toyotas at other Toyota dealerships, but never felt so cheated the next day. I bought my leases vehicle at residual of $16k got out at about $21k with all the additional fees financing at 7.99% when our credit union could have done it for about half the interest. Went back in less than 24hrs, to try to reverse, or lower the interest and they refused to do anything about it. I love Toyota, but this dealership sales are is unethical. Stay away. More
Beware! Do NOT pay the Market Adjustment for a Vehicle at this Dealership. After being told that the price of a new vehicle was full MSRP (PLUS) a $7,000 (l Do NOT pay the Market Adjustment for a Vehicle at this Dealership. After being told that the price of a new vehicle was full MSRP (PLUS) a $7,000 (later reduced to $5,000) dealer profit market adjustment just because they can, I was then offered thousands less than what my trade was worth, which is ironic as this whole transaction started with a cold call from this dealership saying that my Tundra was is high demand and that they were paying top dollar for my trade if I'd come in and look at the new models, which turned out to be just a sales tactic to get me in the door. They looked up my trade and verified my numbers on Kelly Blue Book, and other sources and then shared that, " We have to make the most off of both ends of the deal to pay our bills" due to low inventory, and further that every dealership was doing it. This is a shocking admission in itself, but it truly allows for zero desire to operate in fair and equitable business practices. NOT ALL DEALERSHIPS OPERATE THIS WAY ! They are squeezing the consumers in horribly unfair ways, so I set out to find a better deal. Which I did. I took my business to AutoNation Toyota in Winter Park and sold my vehicle on my own in 1 day and came out $14,000 better off than the deal I was offered at Toyota of Clermont. In this economy, that is allot of money for a typical consumer. I took this matter up to the General Manager of this location, who said he needed to educate me on the transaction as he gathered the most advantaged reports he could to prove that I was wrong. Well, it turns out I was $14,000 right in my thinking and that not all dealerships operate this way. Lastly, the GM said that his business practices didn't make him a bad person or a bad dad which I hope is true. So the story ends well, for everyone except Toyota of Clermont. For your own sake, shop around for a dealership that deals more straightforwardly and verify every word that you are told. I feel sorry for the sales staff that spend time and effort sharing the features of the vehicles and then take you on test drives, and do not make a commission due to the profit margins Toyota of Clermont demands in order to do business. No wonder their lot is empty, people are waking up. In conclusion and in my humble opinion, this company is not an asset to our community. The entire intent of this post is to keep others from falling into the trap that was set for me. Happy Shopping. More
Beware of this dealership. I always email dealerships first to get a feel for their level of service. If they are helpful and accommodating then I will go in but if they offer I always email dealerships first to get a feel for their level of service. If they are helpful and accommodating then I will go in but if they offer a lot of resistance and games then I know to steer clear and Toyota of Clermont is one to keep clear of. They have posted on their website you can buy cars online but when I actually emailed them for pricing information Internet Sales Director Felix Ramos told me he won't tell me pricing unless I come in, which kind of defeats the whole point of having an Internet sales department. In my experience companies that do this are bait and switch types and play numbers games and try to milk every last cent out of you in a very dishonest way. He actually told me upfront that I'm not serious about getting a car I'm just "shopping." His loss because I'm buying a car tomorrow in cash. Avoid Toyota of Clermont at all costs. More

It was there for a total of 4.5 hours and all they did was an alignment, oil change and induction/injection service. I started to drive home that day and noticed they didn’t correct the alignment like they say they did. So I brought it back and waited another hour and it was still not corrected. Yesterday they had me bring my car back in to make it right and said the steering will just needed to be adjusted. Which is what they should’ve done last weekend. The shop foreman shouldn’t have needed to get involved to do a simple alignment. Today I noticed a long scratch across the back end of my car that wasn’t there before. It’s faint but nonetheless something I’m going to have to pay for out of my own pocket to fix now. All because I wanted to patronize this business. Talk about a headache! Updated: it seems that they make fake accounts to write good reviews on here as well. More
The General Manager Nick Petrone, is a rude, condescending misogynistic pig. All I can hope is that some day, someone bestows Nick and Sales Director Benjamin Lewis, the same courtesy they best condescending misogynistic pig. All I can hope is that some day, someone bestows Nick and Sales Director Benjamin Lewis, the same courtesy they bestowed on me. Nick allowed his salesman and sales director Ben to take zero responsibility for their mistake and tried to put the onus on me. He did not like the fact that I did not cower to his aggressive, rude and bullying behavior. He tried to gaslight me by saying I was the aggressive and rude one. I honestly don't know how he has not been fired after all the bad reviews he received on multiple platforms including the BBB, I guess the owners of this TOYOTA franchise don;t care. Which is unfortunate for them, because this loss of business is not just one SUV. I was going to be a fleet customer for my business within the next year. But I will bring my personal and companies business elsewhere. Don't EVER go to this dealership! More
I have been going to Toyota of Clermont for several years with my Lexus RX350 for oil changes and other needed maintenance. I have been going to the dealership for what, I believed, was a higher standard of care. But, recently, I have begun to seriously doubt this. When getting an oil change, I always ask them about the engine air filter. Since late 2019 they have always replied that they have checked the air filter and that it is fine. I have become increasingly more concerned with each oil change expecting them to say that the air filter needs changing. On 7/6/22 I went again for an oil change. I get synthetic oil and get it changed every 10,000 miles. This time I specifically asked them to change the filter and let me see what the old one looked liked. The service advisor, Owen (284909), came back with a picture of the engine air filter. It was black with dirt! This did not happen over 10,000 miles. A couple of other "red flags" went up. First, they did not reset the "need oil change" indicator on the car. In fairness, that is the first time that has happened. Second, I also had the in-cabin air filter changed. When I turned on the air conditioning it started to make an unusual noise. The service advisor pulled out the filter and removed some leaves. Now, I ask you, should that not have been done before I got my car back? Now, I do not like to leave bad reviews on the internet. I tried to find a source to go to at Toyota of Clermont but could not find one. Glenn Hawkins, customer # 241932 More
