Service Department is horrible. Well, one person makes everyone else look bad at least. I had a simple oil change and tire rotation done. A couple days after, I noticed one of my wheel caps was missing. They don't just fall off, so I called the service dept. and explained. He said he had video of my arrival with the center cap missing, so I accepted it and went about my day. Something didn't feel right about how he treated me though, so I called back the next day to request a picture of that video showing my missing center cap. He said he would pause the video and send it to me. Three days later, I haven't heard anything from him, so I called back. He acknowledged my call and left me on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back later, again waiting 30 minutes on hold. Frustrated I called to speak with the general manager of the dealership. Went to a voicemail for extension..... I didn't even know if that was the VM for the manager, so I'm writing here to hopefully help someone else. Also, this service department has regularly NOT completed items that they claim to have addressed. Good luck and beware. More
We came to Toyota to look for a car for our daughter. We worked with Eric Ricker who came across very nice in the beginning. We kept asking him if we would be able to negotiate the price but apparently there was a miscommunication. So when we got to finance, the guy who was very nice told us that any negotiations would be done with the Eric, but he would ask him. So anyway, when Eric came in, we explained that we wanted to negotiate the price and he said it was as is, no negotiations. We stated that we must of understood him and instead of him saying, okay, maybe there was a misunderstanding, he became very belligerent and disrespectful. Claiming that they had been holding the car for us, which in fact wasn't true. We had come in a week and a half before and that car was being held by some other family, who apparently decided not to purchase, which Eric didn't even know until after our daughter called to inquire on that Wednesday. In which he told her it was sold and then called back after finding out it hadn't been sold. So, he told her to come in and put a deposit down but when she got there, he told her she didn't have to (which we are truly glad for and believe it was God looking out for he so she wouldn't lose any money if she decided not to purchase.) Due to us asking if they could lower the price $1000 less, he got upset to almost the point of enraged and said how he had two or three other customers who wanted that car, as if to make us feel that we need to buy the car right then and there. Not to mention he lied in the beginning when he said that she could put money down to hold the car and then said the opposite while we sat in finance. If this is how a sales associate acts when they don't get a sale, then maybe they shouldn't be a sales associate. I see all these good reviews on him and I can understand why they are good reviews, because if we had purchased the car, we would have had a good review of him, but we got to see a different side of him. If he had two or three other people interested in the car from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday evening, then he definitely shouldn't have been upset. Actually, he shouldn't have been upset either way. As the customer, we get to decide where we spend our money and a sales associate should be able to respect that. I am sure if management goes back and look at the camera's if there are any in finance, they will see how he acted, truly disgusting. My rating is base off of Mr. Eric's behavior, not the dealership. WOW! This dealership just became the only Toyota dealership that I will ever deal with again moving forward. I purchased Five new Toyota's over the cours This dealership just became the only Toyota dealership that I will ever deal with again moving forward. I purchased Five new Toyota's over the course of the past 5 plus years. This dealership was apart of the old Larry H Miller network. So, when I purchased the previous four I used their sister site off woodman road....which is now called Corwin Toyota. The lies and deception associated with the Corwin Toyota dealership formerly Larry H. Miller on woodman( now Corwin Toyota) road is rampant and disturbing. The Corwin dealership is out to make money at any cost and it shows in their dealership mark up of $5000 plus on their new vehicles. But, their are decent people at Corwin Toyota....Frank( former internet sales person) now a direct floor salesperson is a honest and trust worthy....he doesn't make the prices or lie about them and works hard for his customers. Mrs. Freeman in the service department is also honest and hard working....thats where my good words must end for the Corwin dealership. NOW......we talk about the amazing staff of the new Toyota of Colorado Springs dealership located at 15 E Motor Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. I went to the dealership one week ago and meet Mr. Justice Padilla, a salesperson. Mr. Padilla, made no promises other than he would try hard to help me find a good deal. Boom!!!! Home run Mr. Padilla helped me track down a vehicle I wanted and when I asked him how much over sticker would I have to pay on the new 2022 Highlander...his exact words were..... WHAT THE STICKER SHOW IS WHAT YOU'LL PAY....plus your taxes and the dealership handling fee of I believe $599.00($5000 less than what Corwin wanted from me and directly expressed to me by salesperson Mike At Corwin) and not a penny more. Mr. Padilla, gave a quote on our trade in and they never even tried to change it or lower it they stuck to their word(AMAZING). MR. Padilla was off on Wednesday of this week( 9/28/2022) and still answered our calls and text to reassure us that he was working on finding us our car. Today(09/29/2022) he called us around 9:30 am and said he found our vehicle that we wanted. Made it to the dealership did the paperwork and drove off in our new 2022 Highlander XLE....and can't even begin to tell you how happy I'am tonight. Mr. James YoungBlood, the finance manager is another blessing...honest... very knowledgable and very caring of the needs of those sitting at his desk. I couldn't have had a better finance manager working on our deal. The receptionist needs to be praised also for taking care of me the first time I came into the dealership I wish I Knew her name....shame on me for not getting it but I will thank her when I go back for my first Oil change. Izzy, in the parts department I met him when I had to purchase my floor mats today...he worked hard to find the mats for me all the way to making sure they fit. He was suppose to be heading to lunch when I stopped him to help me...so about 25 minutes later we wrapped up my purchase. Izzy, I hope you were able to grab a bite after helping me Thank You for putting me ahead of your personal time for lunch truly a dedicated employee of the dealership. I want to close with this to the the ownership and management team of Toyota of Colorado Springs 15 E Motor Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. Thank you for hiring and employing such amazing people...MR. Justice Padilla, is truly a amazing young man with a great deal of knowledge of the car business and has a tremendous amount of integrity. Mr. Padilla, is amazing sales person....but in my opinion needs to be considered for a management position ASAP.... as a business owner of over 30 years right here in my home town of Colorado Springs it's refreshing to see people like Mr. Padilla still exist even in the tough times like now that we are all going thru. I count my blessing ever time I cross paths with a blessing and tonight Mr. Padilla and Mr. YoungBlood are my blessing for the day along with their dealership. I will be seeing you soon MR. Padilla, I will be seeing you soon as I will becoming back for my sixth new car around December/January.....and I looking forward to the experience of your service again. I came into the Toyota dealership twice, the first time to look around and ask questions, the second time to test drive a 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross. All the interactions from walking in the door to variou to look around and ask questions, the second time to test drive a 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross. I’ve been trying to buy a Tacoma for months. I couldn’t get any salesmen in my area to give me specs, price, and delivery time without pulling out my hair. I just received my Tacoma, delivered in 2 weeks, in manual transmission and it was priced at MSRP !! I worked with Justice & Kelly at Toyota of Colorado Springs and I cannot recommend them enough !
