My experience with Toyota of Dallas has been profoundly disappointing and represents, without exaggeration, one of the worst customer service encounters I have ever had. I brought my Lexus GS450 in for a r disappointing and represents, without exaggeration, one of the worst customer service encounters I have ever had. I brought my Lexus GS450 in for a routine oil change on Black Friday. Fewer than 100 miles later, I was forced to return to the service department, where I was informed that the vehicle now allegedly requires a complete engine replacement at an estimated cost of $27,000. Despite being assured that someone would follow up with me regarding this serious matter, no one ever did. Communication was nonexistent. Matters only worsened when I attempted to retrieve personal belongings from the vehicle and discovered that the dealership had misplaced my key. Rather than taking responsibility, staff offered excuses, and to this day, no one has contacted me to return the missing key. Adding insult to injury, the service representative who escorted me to the vehicle had the audacity to question whether the dealership had even put oil in the car—an astonishing and unacceptable statement given the circumstances. I have been a loyal Toyota customer my entire life, having owned a Camry, Avalon, Highlander, and Lexus. That loyalty has clearly meant nothing to Toyota of Dallas. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. The level of customer service displayed here is inexcusable and reflects a complete failure of professionalism and accountability.
