Happy I stopped in at Toyota first. I preferred getting a Toyota but was prepared to shop around if need be to ensure I did what was best for me . Steve H. was great. We had communicated the night before and he knew I was coming and greeted me within a minute of my arrival. Everything went fairly smooth and I didn't need to look elsewhere. Felt I received a fair deal on the vehicle I purchased. Steve was genuine and I appreciated that. Meeting with the Finance Manager was a breeze as well and I even purchased the Wrap warranty for a price I felt was right for the peace of mind it will provide. The facilities are nice and clean. Free coffee. Everyone seemed friendly. They even went the extra step to follow me home in the shuttle so they could bring me back and I could drive my other vehicle home. Was really glad they did that as it saved me from having to figure out how to get two vehicles home. I'm happy with the purchase and was overall a fine experience. More

Extended Warranty Issue My mother and father were long time customers of Toyota of DM. My mother bought another new Toyota about a year ago and after recently looking at th My mother and father were long time customers of Toyota of DM. My mother bought another new Toyota about a year ago and after recently looking at the paperwork to see what she needed to be serviced, I also learned that she was sold about $3500 worth of extra warranties that she will never use as she puts very little miles on her car. The fact is that the warranty that comes with the car is for 3 years and covers the very things listed in the warranty. I know what they sold her is an extended warranty but the fact is that these warranties are for people who put a lot of miles on their cars. They took advantage of the fact that she was older and inexperienced at this kind of thing as my father has passed away. They didn't ask her any questions such as how many miles she puts on her car, etc. If they had, they would know that she didn’t need these extended warranties. All they care about is getting their "commission" by selling these useless warranties. I will be watching them very closely from now on as far as how they service my mother's car. As a person who buys new cars about every 5 years, I know I will not be going to Toyota to look for my next new car. Also, you need to tell your employees to sign the paperwork with their full name in legible writing not just initials. More
