Extremely poor service department. Brought my car in due to a bad blind spot monitor (BSM) and low hybrid inverter cooling. I agreed to have both cooling systems flushed. I was told th Brought my car in due to a bad blind spot monitor (BSM) and low hybrid inverter cooling. I agreed to have both cooling systems flushed. I was told the BSM didn't work because I had a bad battery, although there was no indication of this. I agreed to a new battery. On the drive home the BSM failed again. The inverter cooling level was unchanged still sitting on the "low" line and the cap to the reservoir was missing. I am not convinced the battery was bad and I don't think the cooling system was flushed. I was told to bring my car back in to fix the BSM. When I brought my car back I was told it would be ready the next day. Three times I called and was told it would be another day. They kept the car for 5 days. I was told the front door mirror assembly needed to be replaced, however the technician later called and told me he only needed to replace the mirror glass with the built-in BSM. When I picked up my car I was charged for the mirror assembly. I told the service this was wrong and he eventually corrected this problem. If I had not talked to the technician I would not have known and would have been fraudulently charged for this part. I asked for compensation for all these delays and inconvenience and was told to contact the service manager. He never responded. I contacted Toyota's main office and they sent a message to the Ft. Walton Customer Relations Manager and said I would be contacted by him. After 3 messages to Toyota the Manager replied to the main office that no compensation was necessary. The Manager never contacted me directly. Toyota's main office considers the matter closed. More

I was told it will take ~2.5 hours for the work to be done. I waited there, three and a half hours later, still no one updated me what is the status. At this time, I asked the service assistant what is going on. A while later, he came out and told me they are working on it now. I think they totally forgot about the car! After five hours waiting and $472 charge, I finally got the car back. I am also not sure what should be 40,000 miles service including? The cost seems pretty high. More
They talked a disabled soldier into dropping $1000 to hold a vehicle in transit that wouldn't arrive till 2023. We found the same vehicle on the lot in Panama City. My Sienna ran well, but the check engine light came on. I drove from Pensacola to Destin and then home in Niceville and made an appointment with Toyota of Fort Walton Beach. After waiting at Toyota of Fo I drove from Pensacola to Destin and then home in Niceville and made an appointment with Toyota of Fort Walton Beach. After waiting at Toyota of Fort Walton Beach almost all day on 10 August, I was told I needed a part. I was sent home by Uber and brought back early afternoon the next day because Uber does not run after 4 PM. After several more hours waiting at Toyota of FWB, my van was ready to go the evening of 11 August--after I made a four-figure payment. On 17 August at 2 pm in my garage, I started my van, which immediately quit, not to start again. I called AAA towing. We arrived at Toyota of FWB at 4:40 PM. I was told they would try to get to my van in between those with appointments the following day. Toyota Service Hours are listed as ending at 6 pm. I found my own way home. The next day, 18 August, at 1 pm, I called and was told that they had not gotten to my van yet. They would get to my van after all the appointments had been taken care of. At 5:45 pm I was called and told a gasoline hose had come off the engine and all the fumes and gasoline on the floor of my garage were from my trying to start the engine. Having had the van towed eighteen miles to Toyota on Wednesday, I was told I could pick it up Friday morning, after they reattach the hose to the engine. Full disclosure: On the second visit, Toyota of FWB did not charge the $145+ “diagnostics” fee to find the hose squirting gasoline on the floor. T of FWB did not charge for parts and labor to hook the hose back up. T of FWB did not charge the additional-profits fee. T of FWB did not reimburse the towing fee. T of FWB did not provide any gasoline. Nineteen August I noticed the radiator coolant reservoir tank was empty and added antifreeze. While driving to Freeport on Saturday, 20 August, I felt the engine fans were running too often. That Saturday night I noted antifreeze dripping from the top hose on the driver’s side at the connection with the engine. During the day on Sunday, a neighbor opened the hose clamp and pulled the hose off with the broken plastic nozzle from the engine in the end of the hose. On Monday, 22 August, the van was towed, again, this time from Freeport to T of FWB. Tuesday evening I called Toyota and was told the Toyota dealership had to order a new radiator hose for the Toyota van. The radiator hose would not arrive until Wednesday morning, 24 August. On Wednesday, at 12:40 PM, I called T of FWB and was told I could use a new thermostat. I agreed and was told T of FWB would call me back later that day. At 5:30 pm I was called and told that they needed to burp out all the air pockets and the van would not be ready until Thursday morning, 25 August. Thursday, 25 August, at 11:06 AM we received a call from T of FWB telling us the van was ready. Having towed the van to Toyota on Monday, at noon on Thursday we picked up our van. Labor was $560.33 and the additional-profit fee was $40. One radiator hose and one thermostat installed total cost was $899.50. More

I purchased a used Toyota 2021 Camry. We’re in our 70s. The main feature I wanted was lane change . I asked salesman if it had lane change indicator and lane change avoiding feature. He s We’re in our 70s. The main feature I wanted was lane change . I asked salesman if it had lane change indicator and lane change avoiding feature. He said where is the button, he said there’s no way to turn it on or off ,he pointed to a spot on the mirror saying “it’s right here” there was no way to safely test this feature in test drive. The service manager offered to “ trade me out” to a different vehicle. The dealer would probably have made profit on two vehicles, and they did not have an equivalent trade in in stock. Later, I reluctantly was going to get an oil change there and called and asked for a price, “come in to service department and we’ll give you a price then.
