A very knowledge salesman who went above and beyond!!! My experience with Topher Jackson was GREAT! I live over 100 miles away and was not certain I wanted to travel the distance for a vehicle. However, My experience with Topher Jackson was GREAT! I live over 100 miles away and was not certain I wanted to travel the distance for a vehicle. However, my search led me to Toyota of Gastonia where I had the pleasure of working with Topher. Topher not only guaranteed me that the vehicle I was interested in was a great buy; he allowed me to drive the car to my home state where my personal mechanic could check it out. My mechanic who works at a non-affiliate dealership gave the car a clean bill of health. He could not find anything mechanically wrong with the car or any prior damages to the exterior or interior. Topher and I negotiated a great price for my vehicle and closed the deal. I am very pleased with how knowledgeable my salesman is about the vehicles he sales and does not hide anything from his customers. My overall experience with Toyota of Gastonia and Topher on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest--is 10! More

A Rare "Very Good" Experience Purchasing an Auto For me, one of the most frustrating things is life is purchasing a car from a dealership. Most of the time it is a chess game to buy a car. A buyer receives few straight answers and the deal is not over until you have signed the purchase or loan agreement. The dealership or salesman is usually jockeying for additional money, add-ons costs, a higher rate, etc. at the last minute when you thought you had already settled the final cost of the car. My experience purchasing a car at Gastonia Toyota was nothing like I expected. The salesman, Rick Sheppard, was a gentleman who had straight answers, was cooperative, helpful, and always available when we need him. He gave us the car we wanted at the price we wanted. On the day we purchased the car the Finance Manager, Wood Mitchell, professionally and efficiently took me through the closing process. I sincerely thank them for the very good deal they gave me on the cost of the car and for making it so easy. More

Unbelievable experience! Rick Shepard gave me OTD pricing just as I asked for on day one. He never made financing or trade in a factor in pricing. I met with Topher Jackson, who was very friendly, laid back, and knowledgeable... not pushy at all. Topher let me lead the way on an extensive test drive....not "just around the block". Dan gave me a great deal on my Mazda 6, and Sean Anderon had me in and out of the financial office within minutes. After my purchase, Topher sat in my car with me and thoroughly explained and demonstrated all of the technology features...he spent approximately 1 hour in the car with me and I left feeling very comfortable and informed.
