I gotta say that this was by far my worst car buying experience. The sales staff are not knowledgeable about their vehicles or products and make promises they can’t keep. I dealt with Juan and Max. Thes experience. The sales staff are not knowledgeable about their vehicles or products and make promises they can’t keep. I dealt with Juan and Max. These guys said anything to rush to sale. I specifically requested the premium factory Toyota leather seats for my new Tacoma. Because the Tacoma package of the truck we were negotiating on came with cloth seats, they promised that they would order the Softex factory leather seats and install them. And what I ended up getting are some aftermarket leather seats. As you can imagine, I am not happy with the outcome. Before my purchase I stressed to Max who is Juan’s manager that not having these seats was a deal breaker and that I was willing to wait and order a different truck with the Premium Package that included the leather seats I wanted. Max continued to reassure me that I would be getting the leather seats as seen on the online description of the premium package 2024 tacoma. I even speculated further and asked that they called Parts & Accessories to confirm that it was possible. As a customer, I feel slighted, manipulated. With that being said, they gave me a $500 credit towards Parts & Accessories for the inconvenience. Word of advice, don’t let them rush you off the lot with the new car until you get what you want. On July 28, 2024, I bought my car to get service. I was told that I can leave it because they were short staff of technicians. And they will get to it tomorrow. I said ok no problem. I had a $20 rewa I was told that I can leave it because they were short staff of technicians. And they will get to it tomorrow. I said ok no problem. I had a $20 reward that I gave the advisor. And he stapled it to my paperwork. The advisor was nice and offer me a Lyft home. But it would have been nicer if he told me about the rent a Toyota instead of me going to the airport to rent a car. I didn’t find out about it til after I picked my car up yesterday. So the advisor called me yesterday morning and told me that my car was ready. I told him I was at work and I’ll pick it up before 5pm. So at 4:15, I called the advisor, he didn’t pick up. I called that dealership over and over for an hour trying to get a Lyft to the dealership. So I ended getting my own Lyft to the dealership, which cost me $20. I get to the dealership at 6pm. I had to go to the cashier to pay for the car service. Cause the area where the advisors work, there was no one there because they closed at 6pm. So the cashier asked for my name and I gave it to her. It took her a while to find my invoice. I asked her did they take the $20 off. She went through the paperwork and said yes. So I paid and she hand me my receipt, so I can get my car. I looked thru the invoice. My $20 reward was not taken off my service. I didn’t have the energy to talked to the manager. I said I’m done with Hollywood Toyota service department. This is not the first time I had a problem with Hollywood Toyota Service Department. This is the second time. The first time they did resolve the first issue. I’m not giving them a third chance to screw me over. I’ve been coming to this service department for over 5 years, and spent plenty money with them. Maybe this is a sign to give Weston Toyota Service Department a try. More
