The plug for the car was missing when I bought the car and within a week a replacement was found. No extra charge and no hassle. At purchase time I requested an extra key. When I got the plug, I received the extra key again at no extra charge. Nick has been available to answer any of my questions even after I bought the car and assures me I can contact him at any time in the future if I have further questions. Unfortunate We just bought a Highlander from Lake City Toyota. I love the car but if I had to do it over, I would have gone elsewhere. First of all, their se We just bought a Highlander from Lake City Toyota. I love the car but if I had to do it over, I would have gone elsewhere. First of all, their service is is similar to a wolf attacking its prey and they stated they hated doing business with Costco members because they make more from others that have no idea! They even separated us from other customers to make sure we didn't let others hear that their deal wasn't good since they like to add fees that mean nothing and with the Costco program you can't do that as easily. Every time I questioned a fee they told me to ignore that line. When I wouldn't and made them remove the additional fees, they asked if I was a finance person. No, but I'm positive when I'm being fed BS. I feel bad for others that trust them. Then at the end, we found a chip within 24 hours of buying the car and they told us "too bad too sad" when I complained and told them I expected a bit of compassion. When I told him I was angry, the salesman's response was that he would tell his boss. If you go in prepare for aggressive vulture-like sales associates until you purchase a vehicle, then prepare to not be cared about and everything is your problem. Even the rental given to us today had one bar of gas in it, was dirty, and had over 50k miles on it, in addition to it not even being a Toyota! Our previous dealerships we have used never treated us badly or acted like we didn't matter. Today I'm really disappointed, but they have our money now so they reached their goal. Will never return again. Being hung up on by the sales associate was also par for the course. He not only hung up but interrupted me while voicing my feelings and instead of being compassionate, was instead adamant about telling me it wasn't his problem and that his boss would call us back. She never did. It is unfortunate about the service and disappointing that we didn't matter the second we left with the car. More
