Mark & Gary went out of their way to make this deal quick and easy to do. I needed a car ASAP and they gave me a superb price up front, that no one was able to match. I called a number of Toyota dealer quick and easy to do. I needed a car ASAP and they gave me a superb price up front, that no one was able to match. I called a number of Toyota dealers around the area and no one came near them. Delivery was super fast. Gary answered my questions and even drove my new car home when I had to drive my rent a car back home as well. I would HIGHLY recommend him. Gary spent a lot of time with me teaching me the features of the new car, even programming my bluetooth for me, and patiently testing it out. The next day when I came back to pick up the car, it was his day off, yet he didn't hesitate to come in and spend extra time reshowing me some things that I had questions about. He ended up staying about 90 minutes past closing time. He told me I can call him anytime with questions. I have never walked out after buying a new car with such a satisfied feeling, nor a feeling that I would not heistate for a second to come back there when I need another car. Thanks a lot ! More

Al knew what I wanted, and offered me alternatives to the initial car that I'd identified. I took the alternative because who wouldn't want a shiny red car. And he didn't make fun of my insisting on a stic initial car that I'd identified. I took the alternative because who wouldn't want a shiny red car. And he didn't make fun of my insisting on a stick shift! He also took the time to sync my phone with the Blue Tooth on my car (something I'd never done before!). Also, by sitting in the back seat (my husband sat in the front) he was able to answer my question as to whether or not the back seat would be comfortable for my six foot tall son. Al is a big man and is also six feet tall. BTW, coffee, tea or hot chocolate is often considered unnecessary and is always bad in most car dealerships, repair shops, etc. THEIR COFFEE WAS ACTUALLY GOOD. So much so that I made a point of bringing my empty go-cup on my last visit so that I could fill it with their coffee! I will continue to do that on my subsequent visits for car washes or anything else. Nice little perk, Grossinger. More

It is important to note that, in the process of purchasing my car, I visited 6 different dealerships and dealt with several different salespeople. I walked into each with a clear picture of my res purchasing my car, I visited 6 different dealerships and dealt with several different salespeople. I walked into each with a clear picture of my resources and priorities, and had done quite a bit of research on the cars I wanted to see. I hoped for a straightforward purchasing experience despite the warnings I had received from friends and associates about the nature of the typical car salesperson. Unfortunately, I found that many dealerships were both disingenuous and dishonest with me both as a person and as a customer. My experience with Imron at Grossinger was refreshingly positive, and deserves public mention. Imron's first step was to assess my priorities, to help me research a broad range of new and used options, and to identify a number of vehicles that might suit my needs. He answered my questions with kindness, patience, and (as has been confirmed by friends in sales and financing) genuine honesty. When I ended up identifying vehicles held at a sister dealership that I was interested in seeing, Imron came in on his day off to bring the vehicles to the Grossinger lot so that I could test drive them and/or take them to my mechanic. As I pared down my options over the course of two weeks, Imron carefully pored over the Carfax reports and price comparisons with me--never once seeming impatient to make a sale that might not be in my best interest. Imran honored my request that the dealership not contact me via phone and, in person, he spoke to me with respect and without condescension. When I finally decided to purchase a vehicle at the end of a very long (7 hours) car-shopping day, at the end of a 2 week process, Imron stayed with me even through the financing appointment. Knowing that I hadn't eaten, he arranged dinner for me at the dealership. When it came time to drive both the new and my old vehicle home, Imran was willing to assist despite the fact that Grossinger had closed an hour and a half before. He met my family and was respectful towards them, he freely offered his time should I need any help in learning to use the features on my new car, and he thanked me warmly for my business. Please note that I did not buy a new, luxury car. I purchased a used compact, and the dealership knew from the beginning that I wouldn't be a huge moneymaker. Still, I was treated as if customer service was of utmost importance both to Imron and to Grossinger. I highly recommend working with Imron in particular should you be in the market for a vehicle in the Northern Chicagoland area and applaud Grossinger on its sales-related customer service. More
I got burned by two other dealerships offering me a price over the phone and then not being able to honor it when I got to the dealership. Brad not only gave me a great price but honored it when I got to th over the phone and then not being able to honor it when I got to the dealership. Brad not only gave me a great price but honored it when I got to the dealership. Al was great at helping me get all the paperwork filled out and getting me in and out of the dealership quickly. I have saved both of these guys names and numbers. More
We have been purchasing Toyotas since 1987(this is only the third) and this is the best experience I can recall. Every time we were at the dealership we were treated like royalty by everyone we came in co the third) and this is the best experience I can recall. We have purchased six Toyotas from Grossinger and have always been pleased with the quality of the vehicles and with the extraordinary quality of service. We were given a careful lesson on how to use the always been pleased with the quality of the vehicles and with the extraordinary quality of service. We were given a careful lesson on how to use the gadgets in our new Toyota, and the instructor was patient and kind as we tried to figure out how to do everything. We purchased our new 2010 4Runner from Grossinger North and after a few weeks I noticed some yellowish brown spotting on the white paint. It almost looked like rust which I thought was impossible since according to the door jam sticker, the vehicle had been manufactured only two months prior. After some research and a trip to a body shop, I determined what I was seeing to be "rail dust" which is a common occurence during the transportation process of new vehicles from assembly/port to dealership. I notified Brad Vermie who was our Delivery Manager and with the assistance of Alan Weissman (Asst. Service Manager) were able to arrange for a detail shop to "clay bar" the marks right off, a rather involved process that took two days. Grossinger also provided me with a rental car for the time the 4Runner was being detailed. Upon receiving the 4Runner back, the truck was fully detailed and looked newer than new!All in all, the service I received from Brad and Alan was top-notch. Without hesitation, I will be bringing my new 4Runner back to Grossinger North for all maintenance. Brad Vermie was absolutly the best to work with!!! More
