Mrs. Figueroa, I would like to introduce myself to you my name is Hali Garcia and I am the General Manager of Toyota of Morristown. I have read your comments and concerns and would very much like to bring a remedy to your situation. I run an excellent dealership here and even though sometimes things appear to be a certain way they are really not but I am also very keen in knowing that a customer's perception is my reality. I would like to speak to you in person or on the phone so we can discuss this matter and satisfy you. The word integrity means alot to me more so than selling you something. I look forward to hearing from you. my number is 973-540-1111 ext 200. Sincerely, Hali Garcia

Dear Hali Garcia Unfortunately the time for making a lasting impression with a customer is when you are dealing with them, not after the fact. As loyal Toyota customers we really did want to do business with your dealership, as we did like the vehicle we were looking at. However, how we were treated was just wrong from both a business and personal perspective. The least that your dealership could have done was have the courtesy to call us directly with an explanation. which you did not. That is our reality. So we have taken our business to a Honda dealership, where we had a wonderful experience and purchased a comparable car. We will be contacting Toyota Motor Corp to let them know of our experience with your dealership. Hopefully your dealership will treat future customers with the proper respect they deserve.

I am so sorry to hear that, I really do work hard to make sure that all our guest are taken care of regardless if we can sell them a car or not and I only wish that you would have reached out to me to me for assistance. I am always striving for custommer satisfaction and taking care of our guests. Though I have to say no one was rude to you or disrespectful. You were treated with the upmost respect but to quote your friend who was with you "I can't understand why you will not discount the car further from your advertised price" could lead to frustration due to a car that you wanted at the time. Phil did reach out to you via the phone and left several messages, though once your husband got involved speaking with Phil I agree that I feel Phil could have communicated better but certainly there was no rudeness or disrespect, just disappointment. In fact that vehicle was adjusted on Saturday evening to reflect the current market on the vehicle. I do not expect you to know how the Pre-Own industry is a commodity driven one and prices are always fluctuating up and down but I can assure you Mrs.Figueroa it had nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy,I understand your frustration in wanting that vehicle and not understanding why we would not budge off the Internet pricing. I apologize for the perception that you may have of us but we are very good people here and do good work. I am always here for you in the future to help you in any way I can. Very Sincerely yours, Hali Garcia

Please make sure I get my license plate transfer on time. The temp registration expires Sept 05 and remember that includes the Labor Day holiday weekend, so there is one less workday than normal.

My name is Hali Garcia and I am the new General Manager at Toyota of Morristown. My Dealership paticipates in the DealerRater Certified Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience with us. Regardless of what might have happened with Motor Vehicle the least you were owed was a return phone call. To not have recieved that is unacceptable. I sincerely apologize for that and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you in more detail as to what happened and so I can remedy from my end it from ever happening ever again. I look forward to speaking with you. Hali Garcia General Manager

Our apologies for your dissatifcation with a Sales rep. I am sorry we were unable to consider your offer for the particular car you were interested in. We cannot sell the cars below what we owe them for. We value all of our customers, if there is something I can resolve for you, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Dawn Werley dwerley@toyotaofmorristown.com

Dear Dawn, I very well understand that you may not be in a position to accept the proposed price but denying and interacting in a rude manner is no way to deal with a customer. And the rep at your dealership is the only one to get so rude right upfront after just 2 visits. You cannot expect users to buy without knowing the complete details. I was only probing to know the exact details. I would have bought the car at 20,750 that night had he not spoken rudely to my wife and provided us the details that we required. In past I have interacted with Toyota of Hackensack and Toyota of West Caldwell and even though I did not end buying from all of them their behavior was utmost polite and sincere. Thanks to your rep, first time our family after currently owning a Toyota Sienna, Prius, Camry and Corrolla has a car outside of a Toyota family. I hope no other potential buyer have to face such a situation.
