Sales Experience Was Very Good Recently purchased a new SUV at Toyota of New Bern. Bruce Smith was our salesman and he was excellent. Patient, straightforward, easy to deal with. Once we had reached a deal, I was turned over to "finance". This basically consisted of signing papers and having extended warranty pushed on me. I found this to be obnoxious. The reason I bought the Toyota was for its reliability. Then the finance guy starts telling me that I will need this coverage and how everything is so expensive to fix these days. I felt like saying "well if this vehicle is going to be such a maintenance headache, then forget the deal". If it were not for the interaction with finance, I would have rated the experience a ten. More

I drove over 4 hours to get there, and will drive it again on my next Toyota purchase. I was not very knowledgeable about the technology in the car but, my sales person Chad Smith was very patient with me teaching me every aspect of the vehicle. Also, Chad gave me a tour of the facility of the service department never had that done at any other dealership in the past. This is my first Toyota but, not my last. Impressed from beginning to end. The Best of the Best Over the years, I have owned many Hondas. Although I never had any issues with any of them, I decided to buy a Toyota this time.
