I’m not the typical person to leave reviews but I feel compelled to say. My husband and I researched and found a car at this location and we like to do a lot of communication and pre-buying online or thro compelled to say. My husband and I researched and found a car at this location and we like to do a lot of communication and pre-buying online or through email before going to the dealership. With all of that being said we live about two hours from the dealership. In the first day of communicating Over my 2025 Camry was very aggravating, stressful, and unprofessional. I would ask questions and get responses that did not answer any of my questions which made me extremely skeptical and uneasy. We would be driving two hours to go to buy the car that I had chosen. It was putting a terrible taste in my husband‘s mouth Dealing with Brooke Shepherd. It just seemed very unprofessional and very rushing me to get in there telling me that there was no pre-paperwork approval could be done over the phone or through email. Everything had to be done in person which my husband and I haven’t really had to go in person to buy a car in 15 years other than to sign the final paperwork. The second day I woke up, I contacted the finance department. I did not tell them who I was, and I asked them if they allowed preapproval and buying process before arrival, the answer was YES! I informed Zack in finance of all of the issues that my husband and I had been dealing with the day prior and he said he was going to handle it. Upon arrival at the dealership on July 16 it was an entirely different experience. Serge was our salesman upon arrival. Serge was wonderful, extremely laid-back, non-pushy, very understanding great personality and easy to work with. You felt like it was more of a friend than a sales person and they were looking out for you versus looking out for any underhanded technicalities. Then we moved over to the finance department. Jose was our finance manager. It was like icing on the cake and adding the cherry on top because this man made it so smooth, extremely friendly loyal, non-pushy on upgrades and extra additions as far as warranties and coverages. He even explained that we have up to a week to look it over and still add these coverages on if we choose to again it was like dealing with family versus somebody just trying to make the mighty dollar. Jose was completely non-pushy and extremely informative and got us exactly what we went in for, for the exact price we went in for. I give a solid 5 stars to Serge and Jose!! More
I am wondering why you call to make an 8 AM appointment to get your car to the service center for an oil change and tire rotation when you don't pull out of Newnan Toyota's parking lot until 12:17 PM. I was told that the staffing looked good until about 9:30-10:00 AM and it got really bad. The service rep. discussed the larger service that my car needed due to the mileage and I said I just wanted to get oil changed and tire rotation this time. I was asked if I was short on time. When I said yes, the reply was no problem. This is not the first time. The sales department should take note since the service department is a direct reflection on the dealership. No recommendation! BUYER BEWARE: I cannot even begin to describe how terrible of an experience this has been; giving them one star is generous. This dealership sold us a faulty pre-owned vehicle with safety issues; they told us the issues were resolved and allowed us to leave the lot. On July 3rd, we spent the entire day working out a deal on a used Ford F-150; we noticed a nail in the tire and occasionally heard a rattling noise. Serge ensured us that the issues would be taken care of prior to us picking up the truck. We called them on July 5th and asked if the vehicle was ready. They stated that the were still working on it, but it will be complete soon, so we drove to the dealership (1.5 hours away from home). When we arrived Serge told us it'll be ready in 30 minutes; we waited over 5 hours that day while they claimed to be fixing a rattling noise and a tire with a hole in it. We were lied to. Neither issue was fixed. My husband drove off the lot in a truck they knew had not been properly inspected. The rattling was still there. The tire was still damaged. He didn’t feel safe driving it — and he were right. After we forced them to take it back via tow truck, they finally did an inspection and admitted the engine was going bad... They sold us a truck with serious mechanical issues, misrepresented its condition, and let us drive it off the lot in unsafe condition. Now they’re trying to cancel the deal and walk away without taking any responsibility. No apology. No accountability. No compensation. Just blatant negligence and shady business practices. I have never had such a terrible experience with a business before. After speaking with others, we are not the only ones with this issue. Several other customers have had serious issues with their service department not inspecting vehicles properly. I am contacting corporate and filing claims with the BBB as well as the Georgia Consumer Protection Division. This dealership just cares about a profit; not the safety of its customers. More
