It took 4 hours to process the paperwork with a very high credit score. They didn't honor the trade in price because someone was on vacation and didn't match the rate agreed upon by .5%. Could not get a ra credit score. They didn't honor the trade in price because someone was on vacation and didn't match the rate agreed upon by .5%. Could not get a rate from Toyota Financial at a Toyota dealership in a timely manner??? Really? No management presence, not once in 4 hours. Very frustrating, Very sleazy feeling as a customer when everything they tell you is a bait and switch. Go somewhere else, they are too big and don't treat you like a valued buyer. More
Just five weeks and under 1000 miles after driving off the lot my clutch failed, rendering the vehicle undrivable. The car had under 25K miles. Despite purchasing the extended ToyotaCare package, I'm now the lot my clutch failed, rendering the vehicle undrivable. The car had under 25K miles. Despite purchasing the extended ToyotaCare package, I'm now being charged a LOT for a replacement because Toyota considers the clutch a "wearable" item rather than part of the drivetrain. So instead of a good deal, I got a terrible deal on the car. As someone who has driven manual transmissions their entire life, I can confidently say I had not been abusing this car. This experience feels at odds with the assurances that typically comes with a Toyota Certified Vehicle. The certification led me to believe the car had undergone a thorough inspection and was free from major issues especially this early into ownership. I feel misled and left with a black eye by what was supposed to be a reliable and certified purchase. This was my first time buying and financing a vehicle through a dealership, and based on this experience, I will not be doing it again. More
